Affordable Art Deco hotel across from the beach entrance
This Art Deco landmark affords a budget-friendly option on the east end of South Beach. You get what you pay for!
The hotel itself is not fancy at all, if you are planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel room I would suggest paying a little more for a more luxurious hotel. The location was perfect though! It saved us a lot of money on taxis, and taxis are not cheap in Miami!

Eat in shops in Lincoln drive instead of Ocean drive, you'll save couple hundred dollars!!

You get what you pay for
The location was great; however the hotel can use a little renovation. There were parking spots available during our stay forcing us to use a garage around the corner, very inconvenient.

Could be worse, but not by much
Well, if you're looking to save a buck or two, then go for it. However, next time, I won't be staying there.

Okay hotel
The staff was nice. The room was a little small and worn out- aged carpet, furniture, bedding. Perfect location, in the center of all the South Beach action.

Great location, convenient to shops, liquer store, and food. Hotel itself is very average, and needs updating. Lobby + hallways have an odd stench, but rooms smell ok as long as the ac is on. Great pool located in the courtyard. Overall great hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of south beach, while using the money saved for some execellent drinks on ocean drive.

Great location, hotel good for the money
the room was below average but its a good room for the price. The toilet had low water pressure, took several flushes. there was a small fridge and an electric oven but no microwaves. The best thing about this place was its location! close to espanola way, ocean drive and 2 blocks away from lincoln drive!. for the price it was good.

Great Location and Price for the Budget Traveler
The location couldn't be better and compared to other hotels in that area of South Beach, the price is reasonable. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated and not spotless, but I've stayed here now three times, so that must say something (perhaps that I'm cheap, I don't know). Sitting on the front porch of the hotel, you'll meet all sorts of people. I highly recommend trying that. The hotel seems to draw the budget international traveler.
