best bang for ur buck..i did research.
inexpensive, not ghetto and best of all is the location. 1 tiny block away from beach and super close to many popular clubs and bars. I would go back.

Cool but no surprise hotel
Haddon Hall is an old hotel. It does have a nice swimming pool. There was a miscomminication about what double bed means in this hotel? I asked for 2 beds but a double means 1 apparently. You have to ask for deluxe if u want 2 separate beds. Room service couldn't get on the phone. So. As long as you make plans to go.out to the beach or nightlife or restaurants, you wont have to let these issues ruin your trip. Plus, you get a kitchenette to cook.but must request for pots. Watch out.for the $50 charge at checkin.for security.

LOCATION IS GREAT!
the location is great!! its 5minutes away from the beach and theres so many things around , only issue was the staff make sure u lock ur doors or make them clean the room when your there ! besides that it was pretty decent for the money u wont be in there much anyway

family getaway
We had a great time. Only some of your employees up at the front of the desk two different women were not to friendly. Other than that we had a very good experience. We will stay at this hotel when we go back someday.

Nope...
Highly disillusioned. End table lamp replaced first night, coffemaker brought up next morning (Should have already been there). 14" Flatscreen hung high in corner. Only good thing is their pool. Also no free Internet anywhere!

Location is Prime!
I am a law student and I needed a break. so this hotel provided the location I needed! It was literally in the middle of all the great restaurants on South Beach and Club Cameo is right behind it! If you don't have a rental car, it's cool because cabs come regularly in front of the hotel and there is a bus line that runs on the street behind the hotel. The room smells funny and they kept running out of towels. But we were never in the room because we were always on the beach, clubs, or bars that are on the very next street.

the best bars are on the next street over so you don't need a car rental, just cab it there! it's like 3 or 4 dollars!

ok so you will notice a weird smell when you walk in the hotel lobby cant describe it but its annoying.. the hotel rooms need updating really bad i felt like i was in the 70's... employees are not welcoming at all.

good location for southbeach
no parking passes for you to park infront of hotel so u have to pay for own parking $17 a day.a had a cam recorder stolen in my room while i took a trip to keywest for a whole day so watch out for the housekeeping ppl..they dont speak english much either

South Beach on a budget
There are basically two kinds of hotels in South Beach; ones that are in their original 1930s condition, and those that have been completely gutted and modernized. There is also a huge difference in price. Haddon Hall is pretty much in its original 1930s condition. My room had a small kitchenette, and was quite comfortable, especially for the price. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and very courteous. I would definitely stay there again.

Jerry's Famous Deli is located right next door to Haddon Hall, and has excellent food!
