Affordable Art Deco hotel across from the beach entrance
This Art Deco landmark affords a budget-friendly option on the east end of South Beach. the people who is working in the
the people who is working in the hotel have a bad humor, on the other hand the rooms appears all time with carpets in bad conditions and the people who clean de room never clean your cup of coffee.

Its clean and its safe

good
We were with a group of motorcycles about 15 total the parking was very limited when i called and asked was told they had parking. Well it is 20.00 per space and they had about 8 spaces and it is first come first get. Hotel was clean, pool was great, front desk was ok. The security man was very nice and helpful and did get room for all of the bikes.

Great Location
This is a great place to stay at if you are planning on not staying in the room. The beach is right across the street and so is Ocean Drive. Just a few blocks away is Lincoln Road. Literally, a ten minute walk. It's really not a bad room. My girlfriend didn't like it but you have to take it in context: Every other hotel in the Art Deco district is going to be antiquated and obviously a little outdated. So all things cosidered I reccomend it. You must eat at Cafe des Arts, a few block down, but great place!

A taxi to the Hotel was 32 dollars. Cheaper than a shuttle for two ($40) that Orbitz was selling.

A total dump
As soon as you walk in the lobby it smells like mildew and it doesn't get any better as you go up to the room. The carpet is dirty and it feels wet. The curtains are dirty, the bedspread disgusting. Bed really soft. I would not stay here again nor recommend this place. The hotel Eva next door is a little better.

Great Price and location
Excellent price for the great location. Check in staff was helpful. Odd, they have the little coffee pots in the rooms but do not provide or offer coffee packets for the in-room machines. Maybe because they have the $2.00 per cup machines in the lobby now.
