Nice Dream
The hotel was not bad at all. The room was a little on the small side, but I stayed alone so it was perfect for me. The decor was updated and once you figure out the lighting system you should be good. The location was perfect not directly on the beach, but just one block away away from the noise and crowd.

6 Nights in Miami, with my cousin, had a wicked time, wish I had booked 10 nights,
Was our first time in Miami. This hotel is lovely, beauitful rooftop, photos on website are exactly how it looks. Staff are very helpful and friendly any information I needed every staff member I spoke with could provide it. Room service very good, door to door service every evening to see if you need anything extra ice etc. Location was good, few minutes from Ocean Drive and South Beach , where you can catch the Tour Bus (Hop on, Hop off), which is a good way to see Miami and get your bearings. Walk away from Washington Avenue, around 15-20 mins walk to Lincoln Road, open Mall, 120 Max Bus from Washington Avenue will take you to Aventura Mall, which takes about 45 to 1hr. Would definitely stay there again, but in April or May, when there is less rain, mid June was abit rainy, but the hotel is excellent!

Anniversary Weekend
My wife and I escaped for the weekend to South Beach. We live an hour away. Lots of great hotels in the area, but we had read about the ownership and uniqueness of this hotel so wanted to try it. Staff was friendly and professional. They upgraded us to the Junior Suite for free, and were responsive to anything we needed. Hotel has a funky, South Beach feel, with modern decor and lighting -- reminded me of the "W" hotel ambience a bit, infused with Versace-type decor and colors, and Indian themes. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again. They also have a handful of regular suites which are 2 stories (private rooftop deck), and one Penthouse suite. Some notes: 1. This is a boutique hotel -- smaller than your typical hotel...smaller lobby, pool area, room sizes, etc. Smaller also equates to getting more personalized service. When we called the front desk for anything (eg. iron) someone was knocking on our door within 3 minutes to deliver it. We had a welcome-card signed by the hotel staff waiting for us in our room, congratulating us on our anniversary. 2. Bathroom in our Jr. Suite was mostly made of glass walls. Essentially you can see shower and almost all areas of bathroom depending on where you are standing in the room...so you don't get the traditional privacy you might expect. Wasn't an issue for my wife and me, but something to be aware of. 3. Hotel is on Collins Ave. so only one block away from beach. But since the two Dream buildings are not that tall, you don't get a view of the beach. Window shades are kept closed mostly, because view is directly into other nearby buildings. Rooms are darker without sunlight, though this didn't bother us -- interior lighting is fine. 4. Valet ($34/day) parking w/ mandatory resort [called "Dream Package"] fee (allows you to get towels for pool deck and beach) $8/day, plus taxes amounts to an additional $44/day...factor that into your overall room price. Still, overall room price is competitive w/ other hotels in the area. 5. Good location...a 1 minute walk to beach, and in the middle of all the great night-life and shopping. 6. High speed internet included in room price. 7. Cozy pool and deck area on rooftop. Great place for cocktails, and meeting w/ friends.

Dream South Beach
I loved the location 1 block from Ocean Drive. The hotel is very nice. The room is a little on the small side, but it didn't bother me because I had a room to myself.

Short walk from hotel
Negotiate a deal with the local parking lots instead of doing valet... Especially if you are staying for more than 2-3 days!!

40th Birthday Celebration
Everything about Dreams was amazing. It was nice to be able to walk everywhere and be centrally located. The roof top pool area was a fabulous place to relax and enjoy. Only slight downside was the noise coming from the hotel patio next door late at night. But I'd stay at Dreams again.

Dream was a great place to stay. The hotel staff was great, the food was great and the location is great. I literally cannot point out one fault in the hotel. I stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights and it was amazing. Staff always greeted you with a smile, they always made sure that you were number one on their property. As a person who works with customer care. I would say that the dream much esceeded my expectation for hotels in Miami. I have been to Miami 4 times and stayes at 4 different places. This was by far the most amazing experience. Dream is only one block away from all of the action. Their rooftop pool was always calm and quiet. Highbar was reasonable with their pricing compared to every other place in South beach. I would for sure pay the dream another visit on my next trip to Miami. The bed there was the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on. It seemed as if it was a heaven for hotels. Thank you for the great stay and I will be back.

Great Hotel!
The Dream is definately a great hotel and I will stay here again in the future. The rooms are exactly what it is shown in the pictures. The room is not too small, there is enough space for luggage and space to walk. The blue lights are very nice and it can be turned off if you just want regular lighting. The see thru glass doors in the shower and bathroom weren't as bad as some reviewers had said, because there's another door right before the entrance to the bedroom that you can close it. Overall, the rooms are very clean (housekeeping comes twice a day) and friend staff. It's just a block away from the beach, and you get 2 chairs per room in the beach. The hotel location is perfect and all the entertainment is within a walking distance.
