Modernist hotel on the north end of Miami Beach made music history
This Collins Avenue hotel holds a prestigious spot in Miami Beach history. The property entertained the Rat Pack, and it was the site of the Beatles' second U.S. performance -- broadcast live on the "Ed Sullivan Show" from the Napoleon Ballroom. Old Hollywood glamour still shines through at this resort, which maintains its status as a lively music venue with a global roster of entertainers at the onsite jazz club. Publix Grocery is a short distance and also some restaurants. Breakfast at hotel is not worth the price. There is some street parking if you want to save yourself the walk from the public parking lot.

The best views!!!
My boyfriend and I have stayed at this hotel two times now. The view of the beach from the 14th floor is absolutely spectacular! You really can't beat it for the price. We don't spend enough time in the room to find anything to complain about. All I know is that we really enjoy staying here for the view alone!!! And they fixed the parking issue. You can self park across the street and come and go as you please.

Great Experience!
beautiful, accomidating, helpful, friendly. Clean rooms, extra towels and cleaned bathroom daily. Extra soaps and shampoos were provided. Beautiful view from our rooms, and we loved our stay!

worthwhile
I read part of Barbara Walters memoirs while there and found out her dad did a Latin Quarters show there in 1959 for a season. Many famous people played there including the Beatles which is why there are photos of them in the rooms and hallways. So what it lacks in modernness it makes up for in history as an older hotel. They are redoing the rooms so our room was nice, but others needed work yet.

ANNIVERSARY GET AWAY
ARRIVED THE HOTEL TO FIND OUT THAT THERE IS NO PARKING ONLY VALET FOR $20...Check in was a breeze, the room was nice and the view was awesome. Downer was the remote was not functioning properly and there were no blankets but after a call and a 5 minute wait that problem was corrected......bottom line I would recomend this place to

Great Time!
My boyfriend and I had a great time at this hotel, even after being wary due to other reviews. The rooms could use a makeover and new curtains, but the beach and pool were great! Who needs to spend time inside in Miami anyway? Yes, there were some times we waited 10 minutes for the Valet service to bring our car, but they were never too full to take us. All in all, great trip for a great price.
