Days Inn and Suites Miami/North Beach Oceanfront

This is the filthiest place I have EVER seen. I dont even want to start descibing the condition the room was in. I have really seen A LOT of dirty motel rooms but this place sets a new benchmark. I would NEVER EVER spend a second night there!!! The rating scale above for cleanliness and comfort would need to be negative to give a vague idea of these factors.

Our first room was not up to my standards but was up to standards for the hotel. The room was dirty, carpet stained, beds at least 20 years old. Mattress sagged deeply in middle and the boxsprings had mold/mildew on them. I did not get a good night sleep. We moved rooms on the second day. The new room was a bit cleaner, not much, and the beds were a bit more comfortable. I do not think there are standards for the housekeeping department, When booking this hotel I was not informed at time of booking that there would be additional charges for use of the refrigerator and microwave provided in the room.

the carpets, rooms, and bathrooms werent clean and were very outdated. and to top it off, we went to the beach for one hr, and within that hr, our jewelry and iphone were stolen out of our zipped suitcase. Needless to say the staff was not accomidating or helpful in any way. we are incredibly upset and angry and will not be returning.

The hotel is nice but it surrounded by scary hotel. It's not crowded. It's not far from south beach if you drive there but I don't think you can walk there.

The Wifi Internet didn't work for more than 70% of our stay there. The Hotel staff said that they couldn't do anything to fix it unless the company comes in. Rooms are too congested. Request for micro-oven usable paper plates were not entertained. Quarters to be used for outside metered parking were not available from the front desk most of the time. Request for shaving gels was not entertained, though it was mentioned in the hotel brochure that things of basic amenities will be available from front desk. Overall, not at all recommended for anyone

it would be better if they provide free breakfast.

I stayed in the hotel with my wife during a getaway week where we stayed in a higher rated hotel in Miami and in another one in Key West. Our conclusion is that the Days Inn is a great value for its price. Don't expect 5-star services because you are not paying for them. The hotel is highly convenient for beach days (the ocean is across the street). The room was clean, despite carpet spots. Bathroom is little bit old although very clean. No many amenities, no breakfast. Surrounding stores are not great; the good ones are not further than a few blocks from the hotel. There is a tall gay cleaning everywhere that impressed me. Well done! If you travel with an eye on your budget, I would recommend this hotel in Miami Beach.

right on the beach. very nice staff, a personal experience you will not get at the Ritz or other stuck-up places. It's far from S Beach so if you want clubs and nightlife, you stay South or be willing to take a cab for 15-20 min. For what I wanted it was perfect, and I can't say anything bad about the hotel itself or its staff. Nice people, clean rooms, excellent restaurant (the owner is a very nice guy, too).

Its location is perfect! Beach is in fromt, pharmacy and restaurants are around the block. I would recommend this hotel!!
