Courtyard by Marriott Miami Beach/ South Beach

This was a last minute trip after thanksgiving and the location was great. Is about 3 blocks away from the beach and a about 3 blocks away from the outdoor mall. The hotel seemed a little dated but clean and with a great staff. The bed was hard for my liking but hood for my husband. The valet guy was quick to tell us how close we were to everthing and also recommended off site parking. Although our neighbors were loud two nihhts for hours around 4am to the point I had to complain to the front desk but they had checked out that morning. The manager apologized and comp our breakfast. Although the breakfast was not great and you can get a better breakfast down the street at Ciao Bella!.

Had a great experience! Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable! The pool was Beautiful all that was missing was a swim up bar!

For the price and service that I received, this was a great value. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. The Valet service was responsive and prompt. I didn't get the chance to do a lot of sight seeing, but it also seems like a fun area to be in. Great restaurants just a block away. The only trouble I had was finding it at first; I had to go around the block once more to make sure I was in the right place.

Me and my girlfriend went to south beach to relax and enjoy. Checked in at the Marriot very late (aftr midnite). The staff was very courtious and helpful. The only complain I had was we were given a very small room in the corner that was stuffy and smelled like smoke! We immediately went downstairs and had our room changed. Our new room was much bigger and so much better... There was no smoke smell... I wonder why they did that to us!!! The rest of the trip was excellent... Overall the hotel staff and the location of the hotel was real good. I would definetly go back to South Beach and stay at this hotel.

Hotel is typical Courtyard experience as far as the rooms and services. It is located in an "interesting" neighborhood n South Beach. Across the street is a theatre that is not for family movies and there are eclectic people and businesses all around. I guess that is South Beach!The beach is an easy 2 block walk and there are all kinds of eating places within walking distance. Front desk staff were helpful ([...]is the day manager and is very nice).

The hotel was satisfactory and pretty much what you'd expect from a Courtyard. Staff were all friendly and helpful with the exception of one receptionist, who was both incompetent and rude. Location was very convenient and we enjoyed our stay. There is a strip club over the road and it gets rowdy in the evenings- ok for couples, but not for young kids.

The hotel was in a good location. On arrival I was told at 2:15 that check in time was 3 pm and that I could be put on a "list" to check in early but that it would not be before 3 PM. Checkout time is at 11 and I was called at 10:45 to tell me that checkout time was 11 and I had until 11:15 to check out or a half day rate would be added to my bill. (I was planning to check out at 11). Could not help me with shuttle info to Ft Lauderdale airport. Rude staff, unhelpful.

First trip in long time,hotel was nice and staff were also.Rooms a little on the small side but not bad for price.It was a good idea not to be on Ocean dr,as the action never stops.We would definitely recommend the Courtyard to anyone and may stay again next year, have fun

Hotel itself was nice, but there seemed to be a lack of staff especially at the main desk. On several occasions I tried to reach the hotel staff for towels, area questions, and/or to check on valet parking and the phone just rung and rung. Staff was very friendly, but when you have a question in a foreign environment a dependable staff will always be remembered and appreciated; and a lack of that can also leave a damaging impression! Outside of that things were nice and I would recommend the hotel after seeing the other options in Miami. The location was perfect!
