RESORT FEE: Congress Hotel South Beach Resort Fee includes a Welcome Drink (glass of champagne or flavored water), Rooftop Happy Hour from 5-6pm with free wine and beer, free local calls, wireless internet, daily newspaper at front office, beach and pool towels. Stay at Ocean drive hotel
Me and my friends really enjoyed staying in the Congress hotel. I' ve been to Miami before, but vacation is all about your time and fun, this location has it all. Really - all you need is in short walk distance (restaurants, shops, clubs, beach, etc). We had 2 rooms and both of them were nice and clean. It was kind of cold to swim in pool since it's December, but their heated roof top pool and the view to the ocean from it are just amazing!! Love it! Will be back.

I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this hotel, the customer service {respect to [...]}, my room in the Retro building was excellent, the view {right next door to the Versace place..!!} the breakfast @ Aladin's, the short walk {right across the street}to the beach....EVERYTHING

5 Star for the Price
The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and attentive. The hotel location is perfect; right on Ocean Dr and in the middle of all the action, with a security door system. The room was very European; simple modern with a high-end kitchenette. Adjoining restaurant had tasty food but very expensive. Make sure you know what you are ordering and the price tag that comes with it. We will be back soon. We had an awesome time!

One cannot beat the location.
One cannot beat the location. Personnel was very friendly and extremely helpful. Valet parking is a plus, however, at $ 35.0 per night a bit pricey. Vouchers for breakfast were appreciated, but since the Atlantic Rest. does not open until 8.30am and this was a business trip, only 2 of 5 vouchers could be used. The elelvator in the building broke down, one had to use the stairs, which was ok., but security was not given, since the backdoor was kept unlocked.

This was a great choice for our 5-day holiday in SOuth Beach. Perfectly located, great size room. Yes nights were loud till 2 am or later, but it was the World Music Conference time and things were hopping. In any event, we were there for the night life. Would definitely stay again.

Great experience!!!
I and my boyfriend stayed 5 nights at Strand hotel. The room was very clean and modern. We love the interior of the room. Staffs were very kind, friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Beach is located across the street from the hotel, nice restaurants and stores are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. We also enjoyed staying at swimming pool on the roof top. We love the beautiful view of the beach!!!!I would go back to Strand hotel next time I visit. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!!! Thank you Strand hotel!!!

Cool property (was Congress Hotel)
This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the action ... cool room amenities and I had an ocean view room with a balcony overlooking the street that was a bit busy going into the early morning. Personally, I liked that since I was out late myself. Great location and can walk to lot's of places and right across from the beach! FUN PLACE!

We love the Congress!
The hotel location was great! Right on the beach. The hotel staff was OUTSTANDING! The front desk staff Toenesha was great, made us feel welcome and like family. Daniel the conciege was Great and went beyond he job to accomidate us! The staff was great, location beautiful and I will defiante come back!
