The hotel is located in a prime area of South Beach, between Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive. Jetsetters appreciate the Art Deco exterior details with contemporary interiors. Great experience.
We spent the night at this hotel. The location was great. Walking distance to the beach, clubs and restaurants. Only negative was the tiny bathroom.

Solo Vacation
The Chesterfield Hotel made for a fantastic stay in SOBE. Pros: King sized bed, refrigerator,Jacuzzi, outdoor tables and chairs along outdoor passage way to room. Close to Ocean Drive and the beach. Shopping. Bus and bike rentals handy. Cons: Jacuzzi did not work. No waste baskets in room. Unreliable Wi-Fi access. Safe not large enough for 17" laptop. Stench in alley next to room.

It's all right there. Even off Ocean Drive. I walked from the hotel to Best Buy off Fifth Stree, then South on Alton, to the Miami Marina for lunch. Then Eastward along Government Cut, until finally reaching the beach.

Had a blast!!!
I had a great time. I drank(thank you Wet Willies), relaxed and laid in the sun every single day I was there. The hotel was really a five minute walk away from the beach. I was in South Beach by myself for a quick getaway from school and work. After my stay, I returned well rested clear-headed and tanded :-). Loved the free shuttle service to and from the hotel. I will definitely do this trip again.

GREEEEEEAAAAAT!
MY STAY HERE AT THE CHESTERFIELD WAS INCREDIBLE. I WENT DOWN DURING CARNIVAL AND WAS ACCOMODATED PERFECTLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT AND NEAR ALL.

4 Day Bday Trip
Arrived to Miami, specifically South Beach, at 6am. Our hotel reservation wasn't until 1pm but the staff was kind enough to check us in early. That was a huge plus to our day. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is only 1 block away from the beach. The hotel does have Happy Hour from 7-8pm but in my honest opinion, not really worth it. The bartender was not the best by any means, and her service didn't make things better. Instead, we walked to the local liquor store and picked up two bottles so we can pregame at our hotel. We stayed in regular room, two beds, 1 bathroom. The bathroom is pretty small compared to others I've been in but it does the job. Room also comes with a corner closet, tv, small fridge, and a/c. I had read previous reviews about the a/c being weak and I would agree that, even though the heat wasn't unbearable, the a/c could use more kick. By "weak" I say 68 degrees is the lowest it goes. The room cleaning was prompt and thorough and the overall staff service was satisfactory. The hotel, as a part of the fees, does provide beach towels daily. We went out to clubs every night in which they also have passes to. We were hooked up with passes to Mansion for Friday night and it was definitely an awesome experience!

great location, good rooms (ask to see several to pick), nice rooftop, and overall - very good value for pay (~$110/night). staff quality varies - few are great, few are clueless, and few make a favor they provide service at all..

Nice stay
I was on bussiness and this is more of a "Vacation for young adults" type hotel. However the staff was nice, the room was clean and was upgraded from what I payed for without asking. Area is expensive so bring money...lots of it ;)

It was my first time in south beach fl and I had a good stay overall. Good location! Close to all the nightclubs and right by the beach. It was the best four days and I would stay there again.

Location, location, location
We spent one night in this hotel the night before a cruise. We chose the hotel for the location and for the free shuttle service from MIA. However, it wasnt clear where we were to meet the shuttle and ended up missing one and had to wait an hour for the next shuttle. The location of the hotel was great! The staff was rather disorganized when we checked in because their computers were down but we were able to leave our luggage so that we could explore South Beach. When we were finally able to check in they gave us an upgraded room which was incredible. The food in the restaurant was good and there was a happy hour for guest from 7-8 pm where the drinks were free.... yes FREE! I'm not sure if that is a normal occurance but it was a nice surprise. The bellhops were very helpful, carrying our luggage to our room and then helping us get a cab and loading our luggage into the taxi. It cost us $20 to take a taxi to the Port of Miami. Overally, a great stay!
