With a facade that combines elements of Bauhaus and Streamline Moderne architecture, Chesterfield Hotel and Suites Miami Beach is the epitome of the Art Deco styling popular in the area.

As you head to the entrance of this chic hotel, you'll be under the shade of tall palm trees that provide relief from Florida's hot sun. The trendy interior includes contemporary furniture and paintings with cubist and postmodern themes. Mahogany wood and aluminum frames further highlight the modern character of this hotel.

An intimate boutique hotel, Chesterfield Hotel and Suites Miami Beach employs friendly and attentive staff.

Rooms

Dramatic lighting -- think candles and chandeliers -- create a sense of sultriness in the 90-room property. Rooms have doubles or kings. The Chesterfield Rooms take inspiration from nature, incorporating colors like green, eggplant and mahogany into the walls and bedding. The Chesterfield Penthouse looks like a South Beach bachelor pad decked out with a white leather sofa, king bed and matching wall units. Each room has a T-1 Internet connection, mini bar, safe and Mascioni linens and robes.

Property features

The hotel is ideally situated for visitors wanting to be close to the South Beach action. However, its appeal goes beyond location. The property embodies the chic boutique experience, with its lounge (called, what else: Safari Bar?) and residential-style suites at sister and next-door property The Lily-Leon.

Highlights

Situated in the heart of the South Beach neighborhood, Chesterfield Hotel and Suites is only a block away from pristine the beaches of Lummus Park along the Atlantic Ocean. Take a seat in the hotel's Safari Bar and enjoy some cold drinks while staring at unique statues of monkeys and elephants. Free drinks during happy hour are sure to cheer anyone at this eclectic watering hole.

Chesterfield Hotel and Suites Miami Beach, is within walking distance of the vibrant nightlife scene along Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue. If you are looking for something more low-key, relax in the hotel's stylish, modern front lobby and people-watch as the crowds move along Collins Avenue under the Florida sun.

Great Experience!

Great location.Great value. The hotel is located in the middle of all the little restaurants by the boardwalk, beautiful and comfortable location with access to all possible restaurants, bars and stores. On top of that the area is really safe and perfect for those who want to party in Miami.

Great Couples Getaway

Overall this hotel was perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Jr Deluxe Suite room 406 located in the back. It was very nice and spacious in comparison to our friends that stayed on Ocean drive at the Victor hotel. We were only a block away from the beach and a block from Washington ave which had a lot of good restaurants. My only complaint would be that because we were located in the back of the hotel, the alley behind us seemed to have construction of some type every morning around 8am. Fortunately we both have a hard time sleeping in due to our work schedules. Also, house keeping seemed to be on their own schedule. One day they may not come til 3pm to clean or 5pm. Not sure if that was because our room was one of the last to e cleaned. Overall it was a great hotel, the staff was on point, happy hour was great, great location central to everything.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Restaurants on ocean drive have a lot of deals but can be pricey depending on where you go. Don't be afraid to venture to Washington ave. tons of restaurants and more shopping centers within walking distance

The room was not clean at all

I stay in that hotel for two nights, it's so noising. The loud music played until three am. Besides, the room was too small, I even can not turn around. The room was so dirty, someone's disgust underwear on the shelf. Lots of hair on the towel. I will not choose that hotel in the future.

Fun time with friends

Went with 3 friends made a reservation for a standard room hoping we'd get 2 beds. They didn't have any left so they gave us a free upgrade to a spacious room with a king and a pull out. No questions asked. Room was clean and people were nice

Wonderful

We checked in at about 10:00pm and everyone was so warm and welcoming. loved the vibe of the hotel and the set up. On our way back in from Costa Rica I wished i would have stayed there again instead of the Clinton. Def will visit again in Miami

Quick trip

This was a great choice! The room was very small, but felt really upscale. We were only there for one night, so the size did not bother us at all. Staff was friendly and helpful, and happy hour for a free drink was a plus! The location was great...right by the beach and walking distance from restaurants and tourist shops. The only problem we had was that there were no available outlets to plug in our electronics, so needless to say we would absolutely stay here again!

so bad

I am so angry about this hotel. I booked it on Obitz which shows that it is two double beds or a King bed. But when I arrived there, a stuff told me that if you needed two double beds you had to pay extra $40. That is so ridiculous.

Great location !

I had a very nice stay at the hotel which is a short block from the beach. I really liked the rain shower head which comes down straight from the middle of the ceiling and the water is very hot just the way I like it, the bed was very nice, big flat screen TV, cd and ipod port player, the room is very sheek. You get bath robes, iron and board, they have dry cleaing service, room service, nice airconditioners set very cold. They have a free airport shuttle service that picks up at all of their sister hotels. I would like to try other hotels from this group. This is a nice place for adults not for kids.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Walk along the beach sidewalk up to the Ritz carlton on the beach where Lincoln road starts. Lincoln road has very nice places to eat, shop and people watch with lush tropical landscaping in the middle of the road. Also in the morning go a couple of blocks from the hotel to News Cafe for breakfast.
