Dramatic Miami International Airport hotel set on a blue lagoon
Executive travelers with an eye for design will feel at home at this European-style hotel. The 218-room property is set on a picturesque blue lagoon. The building captivates with bold details such as a grand tiled lobby with red leather club chairs and a wrought-iron banister and Art Deco lighting fixtures. Excellent Hotel & Manager
The Sofitel Miami was excellent, one of the best hotels in the Miami area. I was close enough to the beach yet far enough from traffic and congestion. The room that we stayed in was great! The Hotel Manager was the greatest, he is the best in the business. We were catered to constantly and the staff made me feel very comfortable. Just as their ad states, I felt at home for my entire visit. The beds were also very comfortable and I look forward to my next visit.

Best hotel close to airport

great aminities
the softel is a great hotel with a great pool. It's fitness center was great. The people at the front consiairges station were great there was nothing too small to help us with! The room was very comfortable.

Terrific Experience
We arrived late to the Hotel. The staff was terrific. When we went to have a late bite to eat the dining room had just closed. The staff could tell we had had a long day of travel and were hungry. They showed us to the bar and provided us with a full menu to select our food. Each and every person we came in contact with could not have been better. I highly recommend the Sofitel Miami to any and all. You will not be disappointed.

My review of Sofitel Miami
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. We are however very dissapointed with the tour we booked (no fault of the hotel and I did let them know this) we arranged to do a city tour and we were informed this would be a stretch limo and would take us on a tour of Miami for $65.00 per person and this would be 3 hours in length. We were picked up in a multi person van and we were taken to a bus to do the city tour!!! The bus driver however was very nice and very knowledgeable of the city. we were so disappointed as this is not what we were told we would get. At the end of the tour we were given an hour at Bayside Mall we went into eat and ended up having the meal packed to go!! The only real complaint I have about the hotel is the pool was very cold.

Very, Very Satisfied Customer!
If you're traveling with your sweetie, husband or partner, this is the place to be! This was me and my husband first time at the Sofitel, Miami. We LOVED it. They treated us like the five star hotel they are. They were excellent. I will never sleep at another hotel again. I didn't want to leave...I'm impressed. And it's not easy to impress me. Keep up the great job!!!! Kudos. I bragged to everyone at work.

Short stay
I was only at the Sofitel one night on layover. It was a very lovely room and very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Excellent bedding
Staff was nice and accommodating( arrived early and were able to check in before noon)Rooms were clean with nice views, bedding was very comfortable. Bathroom amenities were of nice quality, Pool area clean and comfortable. Best for travelers with car or for business travelers, not much to do or many places to eat within walking distance. Shuttle to airport was available @ 4:30 AM on a Sunday morning( that was nice) Great for one nite stay post cruise, very close to airport for early flight home
