Dramatic Miami International Airport hotel set on a blue lagoon
Executive travelers with an eye for design will feel at home at this European-style hotel. The 218-room property is set on a picturesque blue lagoon. The building captivates with bold details such as a grand tiled lobby with red leather club chairs and a wrought-iron banister and Art Deco lighting fixtures. Like sleeping in a cloud
This hotel is GREAT!! The service is top notch. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Sleeping in the beds are like sleeping in a cloud. The whole bed is full of feathers: feather matress, feather pillows, feather comforter. Great location for a first night stay; close to the airport and car rental sites. Would DEFINITELY come to this hotel again.

Sofitel Miami
Upon arriving to the Sofitel Miami, my group was met with courtious doormen and desk clerks. Our room was beautiful, clean, and we felt comfortable staying there. The pool area was great to relax and hang out at. The cost to stay there was so reasonable, that next year my friends and I will be booking rooms at Sofitel. I can not emphasize how great of a place it is.

great service
Friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever encountered, including some five star resorts I've visited. Room very nice, but beginning to show its age. The food is excellent, but it does have a french twist and may not be your style if your looking for typical american food.(although they do have an excellent cheeseburger) Right next to airport, was very convenient, called the hotel at 1:30 am and the shuttle bus was there in five minutes.

Great hotel for the price
The hotel was great for the price. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food was a little pricey but it was very good.

First Time Miami Traveller
Great hotel at an amazing price!
For the price I paid, I did not expect such an amazing hotel. Basically 3 star price for at least 4 star style hotel. Service, lobby, pool area, fitness center and free lobby internet access was perfect. Room was fairly large and comfortable. Room did look a little bit dated though, i.e. probably needed some paint. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you are looking for a hotel close to the airport. Definately will come back again and will also try other Sofitel hotels.

Nice Hotel, nice pool, relaxing, perfect
We were just coming off our destination wedding honeymoon in the Bahamas and needed to ease our way back to reality. We thought about the beach but we had enough of that...we had nice stays at other Sofitels so we took our chances banking on their comfy beds and a nice pool. Both came true. What a great place to stay if you don't feel like battling traffic and dealing with the crowds of South Beach. They had a shuttle pick us up at the airport and we were checked in 20 minutes after landing. Amazing. Nice staff, nice rooms, I have found a new getaway.

There's a shopping plaza right by the hotel with a Publix Supermarket, a good low-end Cuban restaurant with great coffee, a good Italian restaurant and a CVS across the street.
