Shore Club A Morgans Hotel

We booked a king superior room, ended up with a queen, called down to front desk to correct it, changed rooms,...Only to be put into another queen room.. Decided it wasnt worth hassling with...My time is important...Housekeeping service was inconsistent. . Beach attendants, where fabulous, front desk was good. Room was small, but clean. Spa was limited. Restaurants average.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. The staff was nice and the pool area was as well. They take care of you at the beach and we had an amazing Oceanside view from our terrace. Location was good, maybe it could of been a little closer to everything but still good. We would stay here again.

Loved the restaurant Nobu and especially the pool party scene! Great times :))

Very expensive at the bar and restaurants. Nobu was nothing special and staff was very snobby.

I was promised a city view room, and it was on the second floor with a view of rooms across the way,very disappointed

I was looking forward to staying at the Shore Club because I have stayed at other Morgans/Shrager properties many times (the Delano, Royalton, Mondrian, Sanderson, etc.) and they were all good to excellent. I have stayed at various hotels in SOBE and Miami Beach and had good to excellent experiences. I also wanted to take full advantage of the fact that Nobu is located in the hotel. Upon checking in, I was given the option to upgrade "8 levels" to a suite for $100 per night more than what I had booked. I chose to do so, but the room was very plain with small windows and no balcony. It felt claustrophobic and it was somewhat dark and very insulated from the nice view of the pool and part of the beach. It may have been better if it had not been on a low floor. The AC was not working well but I did have it repaired. There were no amenities and one day I did not have my towels replaced. The old ones were taken but not replaced. I called for maid service another day because I had been in the room all morning and part of teh afternoon but the service was not performed during the time I was out for dinner as requested. Parking was $42 per day - excessive. Internet access was $10 per day. In spite of the fact that Nobu, an excellent Japanese restaurant, was in the hotel, there was absolutely nothing in the room service menu that reflected this. I had been hoping to order Japanese items from room service. I won't be staying at this property again. For the same or less money I can book a tremendous room with a great view and a balcony at many other hotels. I would consider Loews, the W, Eden Roc, the Fontainebleau and even the Ritz when a promotion appears.

For the price I paid, I got everything I expected... Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room as stated on the website, superb location, great day and night time vibe at bar and pool. Only let down was the valet: I had an early morning breakfast meeting & called for my car at 7am. i was told it would be 10 mins.. it was 25. (and at that time of the day in SOBE, there's really no excuse)

had a great time, right in the center of miami beach, but very loud 12am-4am and very pricey with little options when it comes time to eat and get ammenities

I generally enjoyed my time at the Shore Club. It's definitely a place that is best for groups of friends to go to vs. a romantic quiet getaway with your husband. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to a couple with young children. The rooms were nice. Some reviews I had read scared me a bit, but we had upgraded to an ocean view and were quite please with it. Everything was clean. The Front desk were friendly. The pool people were awesome (especially Dakota!) and quite attentive. I usually stay at a different Morgan Hotel property when traveling to South Beach...but I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The "scene" at the pool is one to admire...the people watching is very entertaining...but possibly not relaxing.

Staff at high level, always nice and ready to support. High level hotel....made ev. to make my stay good. Location....just perfect. I strongly recomand it!!!! ps. nice swimmin p parties.... take ociean view room
