Excellent Location
I stayed for one night and I picked this hotel mainly because of location . I booked a standard room and it was very comfortable and super spacious, it also had a sink, cupboard, big closet and of course the bathroom.I absolutely loved the full view of the Miami Tower building which lights up with all colors at night and the metromover .The only thing I would suggest is they get a second person in the check- in desk to help during the evening. There was a group checking in to four rooms, another man was asking for a plunger for the toilet in his room,another couple checkin etc.,so the service desk man was going crazy and I had to wait like 15 minutes to finally get my room. But overall I had a good experience staying here for one night and would recommend it

That's a averige hotel
The staff is very friendly. The hotel is a quite in front of Metromover and all the Miami transportation system. However the hotel needs maintenance and improving its continental breakfasts.

Great location in downtown Miami and accommodating staff
When I checked in they upgraded me to a suite, just because I was staying for a long time. I liked the suite, it was very spacious. No refrigerator. Two ice machines for the all the hotel guests and it is 14 floors. The shower had low water pressure and took a long time to heat up. So I started running the shower 5 minutes before planning to get in. I couldn't have gotten more bang for my buck though. The value could not have got any better and I feel I got more than what I was planning to pay for. I would recommend this place. My friends that visited my room were also impressed with what I got and how much I paid. The metro-mover has 3 stops within two blocks of the hotel.

Great location if you are leaving on a cruise
Our shower did not work. The room was very large for 3 people. They need to do some major work to bring up to par. It was a great location.

Good Value on basic Hotel
I am a single traveler looking for an inexpensive, basic, comfortable room. I find downtown is less expensive than the beach for the value. I chose this hotel for the price considering the Pro’s and Con’s for what “I” am looking for from a hotel. (Your mileage may vary). The major pro’s for “me” are … it’s close to the trains (rail & light rail stations) so I don’t need to take a cab from MIA, it’s close to my gym (LA Fitness) so I don’t care the hotel doesn’t have a gym, it’s a short walk to all downtown restaurants, it’s clean and doesn’t smell like smoke, the A/C works GREAT even when it’s 100 degrees outside (major major plus) and the hot water in the shower stays hot as long as you need it to. Those are the important items to me, to put my review in perspective. The major con for me is that the WiFi is only available in the Lobby :( That is a big negative, I know, but unfortunately, I can’t find another hotel with the all the Pro’s above for the same price with WiFi in the room, so I chose River Park hotel. Hope that helps.

It's a nice place in downtown Miami. The only problem is the elevator...you cant be in a hurry!!
