This Miami international Airport-area hotel caters to business and leisure travelers seeking easy access to lodging, shopping and cruise ships. Good for overnight stay.
I chose this hotel as it had shuttle service from the airport and a shuttle to the cruise port for a reasonable fee. However, it took the shuttle a long time to pick us up. I got the room for a 15% discount and the total was over $120 for the night. I later found out this price didn't even qualify for a continental breakfast! The staff was great and treated us well though. I would consider staying here again, but only for overnight.

A night before our cruise
We flew in a day early to Miami and stayed here. It was minutes from the airport and cruise port. The shuttle service worked wonderfully. The rooms were clean. The staff was very nice highly recommended for a night

The Plain Jane
I stayed at the Airport Regency while attending a music festival in Miami. The airport was extremely ordinary, but that is exactly what we were expecting since we had no intention of staying there other than to sleep and store our belongings. The location is right by Miami International, which is extremely convenient, but it is a bit of an expensive cab ride during spring break because of the traffic and high demand for cabs. There was nothing special about the hotel, but it was exactly what we were looking for.

Airport Regency Hotel
I was not very happy when they handed out the keys to the rooms (4) to someone they did not know and when I went to get the keys I had to show my passport to get the keys. The other person didn't show anything. The rooms are in need of a renovation but they where clean. The hotel itself was clean.

There is an outlet mall just a short drive from the hotel that is great. It will take all day and then some to get through it. Called the Dolphin Mall

Decent
We booked this hotel for Memorial Day Weekend. We would have liked to be near South Beach, but the hotels were all overpriced and overbooked. Taxi rides from the Airport Regency to South Beach were around 30 dollars each way...ridiculous. Other than that, the rooms were pretty clean, we did not hear the nightclub. There were some neat restaurants nearby. Overall, a good value hotel near the airport. It made us feel like we were in Cuba, but we liked that about the neighborhood.

Fun in the Sun Getaway
The hotel is ideally located near the airport, rental car agencies and malls. It offers easy access to highways and is surrounded by various food places, such as iHop, Checkers, seafood restaurant, etc. Bonus of having a nightclub downstairs.

the worst place
We did not sleep very well because the music was playing until 5:30 AM. The place had cockroaches running in the hall when we arrived. I would not stay there ever again.
