Great location!
Shiv Dec 25, 2009
Chose this hotel because of the proximity to the South beach and the airport. Room was clean and well maintained and we had a ... fantastic view. Air conditioning wasn't good enough and the television channels were minimal and had poor picture quality. We loved the fact that there were three restaurants within the complex. The Chinese one was good but expensive. Still I love the Marriott overall and would excuse them for the problems..it s not usual at least I haven't seen many in my travel.WOuld stay there another time, hopefully it is better.

Anyone staying here that wants to go to South Beach: take the A bus (which you can pick up by the Omni) for a $2 fare, drops you off at Lincoln Road and Washington Ave. Sure beats driving over there (the toll for the bridge is $1.50) and trying to find parking, or taking a pricey cab.

the doors in the rooms slammed very loud, so there was no resting time. you had to pay for parking 26.00 which was the first ... time in my life we ever paid for parking. I was given an adjoing room with another room. I could clearly hear her tv in our room, and she received several calls during the night which were heard thru the wall, as if she was standing next to me.which kept me up all night. not a good experience there would not go back.

Luxury hotel with great location in Miam
loramarie03 Nov 1, 2009
We came to Miami for a conference at the Convention Center. The Marriott was much cheaper than the Hyatt at the Convention ... Center. We were on the 15th floor and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching people drive over to South Beach. It has a really convenient location to the Metro Mover which takes you to Bayside and the Convention Center (along with other downtown areas) for free. The parking was convenient and the rooms were very nice and clean. Would stay again... tip for
