My experience at Loews was great. I went to the pool, I ordered room service. The hotel is in a perfect area for great food ... and nice clothing stores, convenient stores are right up the block. Loews is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at.

My wife and I lived in Miami 5 years ago and never really spent much time in SoBe. We chose the Loews because of it's ... location and it's reputation for top notch service. We weren't dissapointed. All the great nightspots were within easy walking distance. The pool is fantastic, with live music throughout the day and top notch service. My wife took advantage of the Spa and raved about it. There was some construction, but it didn't detract from our experience. Only drawback was that the room was a bit on the small side - but we didn't spend much time there. All in all, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a resport style experience on South Beach and be in the middle of the nightlife.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and good location. As far as a hotel review, I think it deserves the rating that I gave it. The ... downside: for a 4 star hotel, there should be at the least a fridge, I had nothing to keep my white wines from dinner cold. The ice which is delivered to your room does not suffice. Another downside is that on the beach you get charged for using the chairs. Not cool for the price your paying. But I guess it's not an all inclusive resort. I only held the fridge situation against them, otherwise it's a clean, friendly place with a good location.

The Good: Impressive hotel and grounds/pool area. Convenient to Lincoln Mall, Ocean Drive, and backs up to the beach. The ... pool area is very nice with lots of towels, flavored water, tanning oils. The food at the pool area restaurant was very good and the wait staff was eager to please. The Bad: Cleaning staff wanted to clean the room at 4pm and we asked them to wait a few minutes while we got ready to go out for dinner. They never returned and we had to call to have someone bring clean towels that night--they did not clean the rooms, just gave us towels. Not exactly the kind of service you expect from a hotel of this caliber. A few more activities for adults in the pool area would make it more enjoyable.

This was a great hotel - we did not see or hear any of the current construction. The staff were very friendly and helpful. ... I found the pool very relaxing and fun, drinks were great and staff very attentive. There were only two things I did not really care for. One was the fact that I had to pay $10 for the fitness center. As a hotel guest I have never appreciated being asked to pay for using an onsite fitness facility. I would also have appreciated a fridge in the room and you had to call to have ice delivered. However, these are just minor personal preferences that would not deter me from future stays.

Sight see and relax at the beach and pool area. Needed a microwave,refrigerator, no access in rooms for the internet and no ... AAA reward points for saying at the hotel. We enjoyed ourselves but our hotel in the bahamas was more accessable.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was great as well as the proximty to the ocean. The clean-up of the room from ... housekeeping was very late in the afternoon, which was an inconvience. I will definately stay at the hotel again and would reccomend it to friends.

The hotel had a beautiful lobby and great pool, wonderful access to the beach. Unfortunately the weekend we chose to stay at ... the Lowes was hip hop weekend. I felt the Lowes did not plan accordingly for example no taxi service available and had to walk to dinner reservations. I felt other hotels, catered more to those NOT with the hip hop crowd and would have preferred to stay there. My suggestion would be DO NOT travel to South Beach during Memorial Day weekend due to Urban Week. The Latin flare is just so diminished by those that are their that week.
