Kendall Hotel and Suites

This was our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished, but could stand some refurbishing. The beds and pillows are excellent. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but a car is a definite requirement, as it is in most of South Fla. Everything is so spread out, and the public transportation leaves much to be desired. Dadeland Mall is nearby and easily accessible. There are quite a few decent restaurants in the area. We didn't use the hotel pool, although it looked quite inviting. We only had breakfast in the dining room. It was buffet-style, but there was a chef available to make omelets to order. It would be a good place to stay for anyone going to Baptist hospital for treatment.

the hotel was clean and very nice, in a nice area. the only thing that bothered me was that they did not have central AC and its filter needed to be changed. but overall, a great experience, i would stay in this hotel again.

Spacious, lovely appointments. The king bed was so inviting, sheets were perfect, most comfortable bed I've had. The room is very large, table, desk, tv, couch, mini-kitchenette and bathroom towels were soft! Breakfast was great, the grounds are lovely. Tennis, interior courtyard had lovely landscaping as well as outside. Entire hotel left a feeling of luxury, staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet location. No trains, planes or automobile traffic.

Before I booked a room, I especially telephoned the hotel frontdesk to make sure if I could pay cash when I checked out even if I checked the box of prepayment by credit card online( it is a obligation). I was confirmed by a teleservice lady without any doubt. However, when I checked out, the front desk not only refused me to pay by cash, also totally blamed it on me--"there is only 1% possibility to encounter this situation, anyway, it is not our fault, it is your bad luck. " But I think it is really my bad luck to choose such a hotel with such horrible service.

EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH. THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION JUST MINUTES FROM HIGHWAY 1 WHERE MOST OF THE ACTION SEEMS TO BE AROUND. HOTEL WAS IN A SAFE AREA WITH BEAUTIFUL POOL AND SPA EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO UTILIZE THEM DO TO ALL THE ATTRACTIONS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA. THEY DID SEEM TO TRY TO TAG ON SOME CHARGES FOR BREAKFAST WE DIDN'T ASK FOR, THEY REMOVED THEM WHEN WE ASKED FOR OUR RECEIPT.

We Went to homestead miami speedway for three days of racing.the pool needed to be cleaned, from maine a pool in florida in november is nice to have.it was one of the better hotels i have stayed at for the price.it was a little long of a drive to the track but for booking in october it was not bad.

i was given a room that did not match the description and needed lots of things fixed. I called front desk multiple times for repairs. [...] Room was ok but not great.

Need rental car, but close to everything: restaurants, shopping, (Dadeland Mall, Kendall Village Mall, etc.), 20 minutes to zoo, many more options.

It was very surprising, from the outside it looks like it would be just Ok, but when we got in the room the most comfortable bed the cleanest room all the comforts of home and then some. The maids were eager to help. Food was great. close to everything you need. Will be coming back.

I would have to say that our family are "Hotel Snobs", generally we like to stay in 4 star+ hotels. I am happy to say, that even if the Kendall hotel is not a 4 star, it was clean, both inside the hotel and out. Very quite, almost to the point of being spooky. The room was like a 2 bedroom appartment. It was very clean, with the exception of the couch. (it looked like someone tried to steam clean it and the out come was not good), The second bedroom was missing the TV but the kids learned to deal with that. I would recommed this hotel and suites to friends and would also stay there again.
