This downtown Miami hotel houses travelers doing business at the next-door Miami Convention Center. The Hyatt Regency Miami has miles of space to host conferences and social gatherings in-house. Pleasant experience
Went to the beach in Miami every day. Although the hotel is in downtown the bus is a good option for commuting to the beach.The staff are very fiendly. the rooms are very clean and nice. the hotel is good value for money.

bayside shopping centre is close by and you can get the bus to the beach from this location as well.

The hotel was clean and quiet, but the room could have used a bit of updating. Parking lot was a 10 min. walk from the hotel, and was still extremely expensive, even with the hotel discount.

Stay somewhere else!
This hotel has to be one of the oldest in the city. The pictures from the website send a message of a modern hotel with a water front view when that is not the case. There are so many new building that it make the Hyatt look stone age especially when they finish building the marriott across the street. My advice to the Hyatt regency is to add a service that makes you stand out since your building is too old to add the modern luxuries of today.

Fantastic for the price paid
It's great if you want a quiet stay in Miami. Near the airport. The bad thing is that it takes a while to get to South beach, aprox $25 by taxi, butg otherwise it's great

Cruise ship passengers
Nice hotel
The hotel was very nice and clean but the carpet in the room was dirty. If you like to walk, the walk on the bayfront near the hotel is great. Lots of restaurants and live music every night. The restaurant in the hotel is great. The pool is good for the location. Taxi to south beach is about $20.00 or bus is $2.00 each way. Taxi to airport is about $25.00.
