Homestead Miami - Airport - Doral

My dad and I needed a place to crash before heading to the airport the next morning and it was a cheap hotel in a safer area. No shampoo or other toiletries are provided (besides soap) so bring your own.

Were very comfortable. But I think they need to put more coffee and dishwashing soaps. Customer services GREAT! She was very nice with us, the hotel is clean and close to almost everything. I thing in my next trip on February We will there.

The hotel itself was ok, room was clean sheets where clean, it didn't have a hair dryer or shampoo. No breakfast. The only thing I can complain about is calling ahead of time 3xs to make sure I get a crib in our room that night, and everybody confirmed that I would have a crib. I called again a few hours before arriving to confirm and the lady that answer said that they didn't have a crib available and suggested to BUY ONE!!!! I told her that i didn't need to buy one and that I would talk to her manager upon my arrival!!!, By the time I arrived they already had a crib for us! and the front desk guy was very king and helpful.

Happy about this choice. Everything went well. I'll come back if necesary.

Shopping & Dinning.

Everything was great except the wi-fi connection wasn't free.

Clean and in the heart of the city close to a couple of major shopping malls, lots of restaurants, airport and in a relatively safe neighborhood. Rooms are "no frills" but for the money they can't be beat. Not exactly intended for tourist looking for beaches or South Beach,etc. due to it's location however if you are driving and know the city it's a good value.

We only stayed one night so we could attend the NASCAR races in Homestead, FL. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in went very smooth and they had exactly the room we had requested. The room wasn't fancy but it was very clean and comfortable. The area is nice around the hotel with food, gas stations, and a convenience store in close distance. We had a pleasant stay and would definately consider staying there again.

Most of the time this was a ok, place to stay. This last trip was not a good one. First if you need someone at the hotel after 11pm you will be out of luck, there is no one there so if you get locked out like me the pool has some comfortable chairs till 7am when they come in. There was more than just me there, another had same problem. Also the security and clients at the hotel seems to be construction workers and they are not the quietiest bunch at night. Also there is no security, and the outside phones cannot connect to anyone.
