great quick stay

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night to catch our cruise the next day. The Hotel was very nice. We were excited that it ... was located right next to the Port of Miami. We walked to the port that night and had a blast watching the live music. The Hotel held our bags the next morning free of charge until we were ready to get to the ship. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. We would stay there again!

Really loved the fact that it was Bayside Market; so much to do there...sit & watch people, bars, shopping, restaurants, ... etc. Parking was terrible: only 44 spaces for a hotel this size when there is public parking available. If you plan to use taxis or walking, great hotel. If you plan to use your personal vehicle know that the hotel parking may be filled upon your return. Across the street from American Airline Arena where the Miami Heat play in addition to other events.

We stayed one night and I must say, we will most certainly come back to this hotel. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was ... very clean and the location is perfect. Parking is limited but there is a parking lot next door with security all night.

My friends and I (4 people) had a wonderful stay. Check-in staff was really nice and speedy. The room was spacious and clean ... with an excellent view of the bay/port of Miami. However the room did not come with a frig or mircowave. It's in a great location: close to the beach, shopping, dining, the arena, and the port.

Did not enjoy my stay

I chose this hotel because it is close to the Port of Miami. There is only a small fenced in hotel parking lot (approx. 25 ... cars & parking fee is required) in the back so we had to park in the lot next door. the parking fee was $6.50 and it is unsecured. My family and I did not get a good nights sleep as there was a lot of road noise and police activity.

Holiday Inn Port of Miami

We booked the room to be close to the port as we were leaving the next day on a cruise. The hotel room was clean and the bed ... was very comfortable. It is across the street from the Bayside Shopping Center. It has many ethnic restaurant choices. I would highly recommend for cruisers who need an extra night in MIami.

I had a room with an excellent view overlooking the Port of Miami and Bongos resturant. The hotel stored my luggage after ... checkout while I ran to CVS one block away before going to the cruise ship. Taxis are $12 to the Port of Miami from the hotel. I paid $12 parking per day at the hotel.

This was an good place to stay the night before our cruise. We enjoyed the view from our window of the cruise ship piers. ... The Bayside Marketplace was just across the street, and had plenty of places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay there again.

Very convenient if you're cruisin

Five of us spent the night before leaving on a cruise. The room was spacious enough with two beds and a sofa bed. It is ... directly across the street from the bayside market which was a nice place and I believe the only place within walking distance to hang out. Upon check in there were three pizza ad's under the door. About midnight the kids(ages between 18 and 21) wanted pizza. My mistake was not to ask what the delivery charges were. The $11.50 pizza turned out to be $23.00. It would be nice if the hotel would recommend places that are good and places that are not so good. Again, my mistake for not asking. Kids said the pizza was good though. Check out was easy and hotel held out luggage until it was time to leave for the ship.

Great Pre-Cruise stay..

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for two nights before our cruise. Although the room was pretty small it was just ... fine for two who don't stay in the room much anyway. Hotel staff was friendly and it was a short cab ride to South Beach and the cruise terminal. Directly across the street are shops and restaurants so that made it convienent as well. We would stay again if going on a cruise from Miami.

The only bad thing about this hotel is that you have to pay for parking! We we were there 3 days and paid an extra $24 for ... parking. I would think it would be included and was never told we would have to pay.

We stayed there prior to cruising out of Miami. The location was excellent. Across the street were shops, food and live ... entertainment. We took a horse & carriage ride around the port. Everything was within walking distance. Perfect beginning to a very memorable vacation. Would highly recommend if cruising out of Miami.

This hotel is perfect for anyone going on a cruise! It is right across the street from Bayfront Park which has shops & ... restaurants. And it's only a $10 cab ride to the Port. The staff was friendly and since we couldn't go to the port until 12:30 but checkout was 11:00, they held our luggage for us.

Great service, let me check in a couple of hours early with no hassle or problems. Very friendly Staff from the clerks,to the ... maids and doorman. Rooms are very clean. The best location if leaving for a cruise as the port is right down the road and Bayside Market directly across the street.
