Fantastic Hotel, Great Value
Paradisiac Oct 26, 2009
Arrived at the hotel to stay for 5 nights. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Experience only got better when we were shown to ... our room. The View was amazing. The room itself was clean, modern and very comfortable. The room service was speedy and excellent. Compared to previous stays in other hotels, this came up top for us. No complaints whatsoever about this hotel.

Great Location
BritneyFan Sep 3, 2009
This hotel is in a great location. There are food options near the hotel, as well as entertainment and attractions all within ... walking distance. South Beach and the Port of Miami are both a short drive. Biggest disappointment: the website boasts FREE parking, which was definitely not the case. We had to valet the car, which ended up costing us $38 for our one night stay. Also, the restaurant on site has slow service, luke-warm food, and high prices. I would eat elsewhere.

American Airlines Arena was just a couple blocks directly south of the hotel. I stayed here when attending a concert at the arena and was able to walk there in about 10 minutes.

Cruising Cousins Sep 1, 2009
We were slightly disappointed at this Hilton. The room we stayed in needs much updating. The room was not cleaned thoroughly. ... The towels were still wet from what we hoped was the washer. They charge you $ for parking. There is no complimentary shuttle service to airport. The location was good with shops and restaurants and easily accessible to the MetroRail, airport and I-95. The staff was friendly but the in-hotel restaurant is understaffed and I had to wait a lengthy time for the food I ordered. This was less than Hilton standard but I guess you get what you pay for.

This hotel is located in the Performing Arts Districts and Bayside is a few blocks away. This is great for people who need to be close to the Port of Miami for cruises.

Beautiful Hotel Expensive Parking
Sheri Sep 1, 2009
This hotel is beautiful on the inside. However, the neighborhood is very seedy. There are a lot of homeless people around. ... The neighborhood lacks sufficient nightlife. The is plenty of parking on the streets, but we were affraid to leave the car (rental)for fear of it being broken into. Parking at the hotel was expensive at $28 per night. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was not worth $84 for two. We had snapper and salmon and both were very dry like they were perviouly frozen. I asked for my salmon to be medium rare and it was beyond well done. The pool area was nice as was the bar. The have very delicious deserts and the staff is warm.

Eat over in South Beach. Mango's food and drinks are very good. Any restaurant in South Beach should be good due to the frequent turnover.

I didn't like the fact that the vending machine on my floor was broken. They did not have smoking rooms. I would also say ... that this hotel is not designed for young people and I was there with my friends; so we didn't spent time in the hotel. This hotel is perfect for older people, I think that would emjoy it more.

first of all, this hotel was beautiful...but that was the only good part. its location was horrible...right across the ... street from a burger king n checkers n every time u crossed the street a homeless guy was begging for a dollar or some change.. praythat your husband isnt the jealous type or that your unattractive because if not, the valet staff hunt you like a piece of meat(yes im female) even with your husband standing right beside you. it cost 30 dollars rond trip to get to south beach by taxi and 28 dollars a day if u had a car. and the street looked like a hood out of brooklyn instead of fabulous Miami...
