HUGE suite, great value
For what I paid, my suite at The Fortune House was gigantic! It wasn't fancy or luxurious, but it featured a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a washer/dryer. The hotel also has a pool and gym. It was fairly well located - very near the free metro mover. The coffee shop in the hotel makes a great cafe con leche. My only criticism is that the place kind of smelled bad - a swampy, mildewy smell, possibly emanating from the fridge, the AC or the bathroom plumbing. Not an overwhelming smell, just an unpleasant whiff when first entering the suite.

Absolutely Awesome
The rooms were great in our apartment. We were really amazed at how big it was. Wish we would have stayed there before our first cruise. It was very roomy and comfortable. We really enjoyed it there, and would definitely stay there again. The only thing was the cab drivers from the port did not seem to know where it was, or so they said. Close to the cruise port.

It was a short walk to catch the tram that took us to a shopping area with restaurants there also. We enjoyed that very much also. The tram was free too.

Get away to warm weather
We went on a cruise so it was only one night. We had the penthouse and it was really nice and the view was excellent. I wished I could of stayed longer.

Warm atmosphere
I personally like a quaint relaxing place to stay, not to mention the extremely reasonable price. This hotel has appartments in lieu of a one hotel room. This made me feel like I was right at home, and I like all the space. It had a balcony, washer and drying, regular size fridge, stove etc. I will absolutely stay there again on my next trip to Miami.

Great location and hotel accommodations
Room was really a one bedroom apartment 1.5 blocks from Biscayne Bay. It's in the financial district of Miami with great location and many restaurants and easy and safe to walk about. I plan to stay there again when in Miami.
