I had a wonderful meal at the onsite restaurant in the evening. The room was very comfortable. Great breakfast in the am ... also and very friendly and helpful shuttle service and luggage transport.

Selected this hotel because it was very close to airport & car rental & I generally like Embassy Suites - except that they ... still charge for internet, which irks me to no end. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Restaurant offerings were reasonably priced and very good, as was the complementary breakfast. Downsides- toilet ran, but we were too tired for it to really bother us. GFI kept tripping on bathroom circuit. Still, we feel our stay was a good one and we would consider staying at this hotel again.

The room and amenities were very good. Due to the long weekend, the breakfast lines were long and the seating area got ... crowded. There seemed to be elevators not in service when needed.

The hotel was not very organized and the front desk staff was very defensive when you had a question or some problem. The ... room was dirty and the linen looked as if it had not been changed. The bathtub was FILTHY and I had to complain three times before they had someone clean the tub. The maid's method of cleaning the drinking glasses in the room was to wash them at the bathroom sink and dry them with a bath towel. I saw the maid do this when I returned to the room to get my camera. When I mentioned that it was not very sanitary to clean the glasses that way, she said that was the hotel's policy. During a lightening storm, the power went off at the hotel and they did not have a backup generator to maintain the electricity for the hotel. Everything was down for seven hours before you had power. I had to change out my room key on four different occasions when the magnetic key would not work to my room. I have traveled to forty different countries around the world and this Embassy Suite hotel was the worst! Also, there was a $15.00 per days parking fee for the guests?! The nearest shopping is $23.00 one way by taxi, the hotel does not offer such amenities. The Barcelona restaurant had excellent food, however, it was very expensive.

the staff was completely friendly, and the rooms were clean. Like most hotels in Miami you payed for parking, but the $15 ... wasn't that bad being that breakfast was free. We probably would have spent twice that on breakfast every moring. It is really close to the airport so we were woken up every morning by the roaring sound of jet planes taking off, being that they fly directly over the hotel, but I didn't notice them at night, just in the morning.

We just needed a hotel near the airport, because we had an overnight connection. We have always liked Embassy Suites, and ... this was near the airport, so we booked it, even though there were cheaper options. First, they only run a shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes, instead of every 20 minutes, like most midrange hotels do. Because of this, not only was there a long wait, the shuttles were over-crowded, with people sitting in the aisles of the van! Then, the night we got there, there was no hot water! We needed a shower, but I was not up for a cold shower - SO ANNOYING! And then around 1AM WATER started dripping from the ceiling into our kitchen sink, making a LOUD DRIPPING SOUND ALL NIGHT LONG. The water was coming from a pvc pipe, put directly over the sink, so it appeared to be something that was supposed to happen! We booked this hotel just for a convieneint place to shower and sleep - and we got NONE of it. The long wait and crowded shuttle made it not convienent. We could not shower for lack of hot water, and the dripping sound all night kept us awake! We complained, and they WOULD have refunded all of our money, BUT because we booked it through ORBITZ they said they could not just refund the $150 we had paid. This is a HUGE downside of using ORBITZ that I have never experienced before, but it is something that will make me more reluctant to use in the future.

We liked the convience of meeting an outgoing flight to send our daughter to Chile and being able to use the shuttle service ... to get to and from the airport. The food at the resturant was very good, and we had a nice dinner before going to the airport. We will use this hotel again when we pick her up in 9 months.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites pre-cruise. The price was right, the rooms were clean, and the staff was extremely friendly ... and helpful. Free airport shuttle, and only a small fee for the shuttle to the port. The free managers reception, and free buffet breakfast were extra added values. Will stay here again on our next cruise out of Miami.

We felt like we got a lot of hotel for a little money and it was absolutely gorgeous- inside and out. The only downside was, ... there were a few roaches that unnerved the heck out of us and made us shake out everything we took, but they made up for it by excusing the 60 something dollar parking we had to pay. Oh yeah that's another thing, we didn't know we had to pay for parking until we got there.

Great service quality, exttremly friendly, helped us choose places to visit and dropped us off at bus terminal. busy ... weekend= very noisy and the in house restuarant was very precey for the food served

The hotel was very good, there is a car rental place in the lobby that is wonderful. We didn't know how far we were from ... downtown Miami, It was great to rent a car and go where we wanted.

Overall it was very good. The suite was very spacious and had plenty of space to work, plan trips etc.. Two large flat ... screen TV's, large bathroom with lots of counter space, another sink with mirror outside the bathroom, wet bar, ironing board, lots and lots of amenities in the room. At least two of the five elevators were out of order so at times I had to wait a long time to crowd into a packed elevator. Also, the line for made to order eggs was very long during the entire breakfast period. Further, the sliding glass door was filfthy so it obscured the view if the Miami skyline.

This hotel's room was much larger and nicer than expected. It was more akin to a suite, with two rooms, one could watch tv ... in the lounge area and another could be watching tv in the bedroom. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

When I checked in, it was late. At 1am I was told that no rooms were available and the hotel was overbooked. We waited ... about an hour for housekeeping to clean a room for us. The room had a damp musty odor, the carpet was sticky and the bathroom shower curtain had mildew on it. While getting dressed, someone was doing renovations and knocked out the power in my room. I called downstairs to report it and request a new room. I was told that I could not get a new room until 3pm. This is the time of check in. After complaining, I was given a new room around noon on a floor where they were not doing renovations. The internet connection that I had to pay $10 per day was not reliable and user friendly. It did not work for the business use I needed it for. the hotel charges guests $10 per day for parking which I thought was ridiculous. The breakfast was pretty nice. It was open from 6am until 9:30 am. If you get there at 9:25, you'reout of luck. They start shutting down and turning off the lights.

The Embassy Suites - Miami International is just a few minutes away from the terminal. After a short wait, I was in a ... comfortable room will all the amenities that I need for my business travel. The next morning including a nice complementary breakfast and a convenient checkout.

The hotel was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than othe hotels.The location was very good, it was really only ... few few minutes from the International Airport, The manager and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
