Delano A Morgans Hotel

I have enjoyed the Delano hotel for over 10 years and have always been impressed with the design and quality of the hotel however this past weekend some of the service left something to be desired. The concierge was great and upgrade us to a deluxe suite upon check in which was much appreciated. The next day at the pool it took one full hour and 3 to 4 request to the check in host to see a pool menu and server, the following night my guests and i tried our luck late late night at going to FDR lounge (the concierge at check in did inform us that the lounge and pool bar were closed for the weekend for private events at night, but seeing no line and being in the nightlife industry, and it being 30 minutes from close we thought we would try our luck.) Doorman was beyond rude and really insulting even after we explained we were guests of hotel and just wanted to check it out ( technically this shouldnt be a reflection on hotel since we were forewarned however managing several clubs i do know when buyouts occur on typical hours of operation regular guests get upset and need to be accomodated) One of the huge benefits of booking the Delano is clearly the nightlife and this should have been addressed BEFORE I booked my room for the weekend not at check in. Last day there we try to have brunch seat ourself from the pool side since no one is there to assist us, give our room number to the server get food and are told by the waitress we cant sit there because all the tables are reserved this is 30 minutes after we have sat down and given our drink order to our waiter. The waiter points out to the hostess its a little late to move us, but needless to say she was beyond rude and insisted we dont pay with our room number since we had just checked out even though the concierge had said it was perfectly fine to charge brunch to room even after check out. Again, the room and some of the service was great but this was the first time I left the Delano feeling something to be desired.

A great place to go when you want to feel pampered. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Pool is beautiful. Would recommend this hotel to my best friends. One of the best vacations we ever had.

The hotel was good in general. The staff of the hotel were very friendly! Another good thing was the organized parties at their pool area which happen almost every night! They invited DJ's to play the music at their pool parties which was cool!

Our room was on the side that construction was going on every morning starting at 6:30 am which meant time to get up. Only thing desk clerk was sorry. Also I do believe in security I was overwhelmed When last day we were there was stopped by lady at front entrance who asked for ID to make sure I was staying there and it was raining very hard outside. It basically is a party hotel and only certain people are allowed to enter if not a guest.I suggest stay in nicer room or suite and probably enjoy being in Miami.

Probably, the most elegant hotel in South Beach - great style, lots of personality, a real find. The staff is friendly and helpful, the pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant is top-notch, both in ambiance and food quality. The rooms are beautiful - whatever they lack in size, they more than make up in style.

The Delano is a perfect get away for a few days or few weeks. Located near all the other hip hotels you can walk and check everything out on the beach walkway. The ocean is gorgeous, but the gem of the hotel is the amazing pool. It was one of the most relaxing trips of my life, and the staff were so incredibly helpful and courteous, they made us feel very welcome and important.

The room was nice, the food was great, the service was great. Everyone was so nice.

Although my reservation was lost, it was immediately straighten out. The service was excellent but their billing sysrem was wacky

We went to the Delano on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The staff is friendly, and there is so much to do at the hotel. There's a private beach, infinite pool, restaurant and DJs spin records nights from Tuesday through Saturday. The location is perfect. We went out every night for a week and only spent $20 in cab fare.

Treated myself to Delano for my 40th birthday. Worth every penny!!It was Amazing from the moment we arrived! From [...] at the front desk (she had upgraded our room) to The staff at the ocean and the pool(Securing us the perfect tanning locations! LOL!)and not to forget- the bartender at the pool who kept us Happy into the late afternoon!!It was truly the Perfect way to celebrate my day!!! 40 never felt so good!-thanks Delano!!
