Fantastic
Probably, the most elegant hotel in South Beach - great style, lots of personality, a real find. The staff is friendly and helpful, the pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant is top-notch, both in ambiance and food quality. The rooms are beautiful - whatever they lack in size, they more than make up in style.

Gorgeous pool. Amazing staff.
The Delano is a perfect get away for a few days or few weeks. Located near all the other hip hotels you can walk and check everything out on the beach walkway. The ocean is gorgeous, but the gem of the hotel is the amazing pool. It was one of the most relaxing trips of my life, and the staff were so incredibly helpful and courteous, they made us feel very welcome and important.

Pricey
Although my reservation was lost, it was immediately straighten out. The service was excellent but their billing sysrem was wacky

We went to the Delano on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The staff is friendly, and there is so much to do at the hotel. There's a private beach, infinite pool, restaurant and DJs spin records nights from Tuesday through Saturday. The location is perfect. We went out every night for a week and only spent $20 in cab fare.

5 stars for 40 candles!!!!
Treated myself to Delano for my 40th birthday. Worth every penny!!It was Amazing from the moment we arrived! From [...] at the front desk (she had upgraded our room) to The staff at the ocean and the pool(Securing us the perfect tanning locations! LOL!)and not to forget- the bartender at the pool who kept us Happy into the late afternoon!!It was truly the Perfect way to celebrate my day!!! 40 never felt so good!-thanks Delano!!

GREAT STAY!!
Excellent service staff from the Front Desk to the Pool Staff! Made us feel like VIPs. We were upgraded upon check-in and all were constantly asking if we ere happy with our stay. Very sheik hotel with an amazing nightlife and pool scence. This is what South Beach is all about!!

expensive splendor
i love the delano! had an alcove room on the 10th floor,great view over the city and of the sky. LOVED:the bedding,lobby,breakfast on the terrace and the swimming pool,especially loved the treats they would serve you every hour or so poolside,frozen grapes,ice pops,cold wet towels SLIGHT ANNOYANCE:fairly loud music all day by the pool.don't get me wrong,their choice of music was good but to listen to bar/club music first thing in the morning seemed to distract from the incredible and peaceful ambience. be aware theres construction going on in the hotel and on the property next door

1.right across the street from the hotel is a little spanish hole in the wall that sells killer cafe con leche! 2. if you're not in the mood for spending $300 and up for a bottle of champagne or alcohol,theres a liquor store right across the street.
