ing marathon weekend
Booked this hotel thru a package deal air + hotel for 2 nights for the Miami ING marathon weekend and location was great for the start and end of the marathon. Easy ride from the airport and walkable to bayside to eat and shop.

Holiday Vacation
Excellent central location to downtown and South Beach. The service was very good, and the room was comfortable. The entire hotel was quiet, which made for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Birthday Celebration
Hotel was beyond luxury. Everything was perfect. Hotel not a beachfront property so you need to drive to go to the beach. Only a 7 min trip but taxis are expensive so I recommend renting a car if you are a beach person.

bathroom has no door. This type room is not good for the family.
location is close to everything. Bathroom is open concept and double rooms can not be used by family of 3 or 4. It is set up for single person or couple only. SPA and swimming pools must use.

Bay side is great. Food is not fancy but there is something for everyone's taste. There is a subway store inside for quick bite and Starbuck for quick coffee in the morning.

Very Dissapointed
Very bad experience with the hotel. Wrong and deceitful advertising. Will not do business with [...]or the hotel anymore. Hotel was advertised to be "Only a few minutes away" from the beach but it was 6.7miles away from south beach. That meant approximately $40 cab ride EVERY DAY. Bad bad bad customer service.[...]

Tempo Miami, A Rock Resort
This was a very nice hotel, very close to the Pier for the cruise ships. There are a lot of attractions nearby: Bayside Mall, Bongo's, and several concert and entertainment venues. The rooms were very clean and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The pools and workout center were also very nice. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and willing to help out. I will be in the Miami area again next year and will definitely stay at this place. Also, it was very affordable as compared to some other hotels with these ammeneties.

Bongo's restaurant had very good food reasonably priced. It is next to the American Airlines Arena where Lebron James will be playing next season. If you are a basketball fan and want to stay near the arena, this is the place to go eat!
