Best Miami Hotel

Lights in room did not work. Lights in bathroom would not come on. Looks like 1995 when last maintenance was performed. Changed me to another room which was better--it had lights! Neighborhood was not in an area that you would want to take a walk in. Would not eat there so I just locked the doors and waited until morning to leave. Nothing good to say about it.

This hotel should be called Miami's WORST hotel. I would definately not recommend this hotel to others. My family only stayed there 1 night thankfully. Although the idea of a complimentary shuttle seemed great, the first shuttle driver we had was extremely rude, mean, and insisted on a good tip. We did have another driver though that seemed nice. Then, we were left at our location for 3 hours waiting for him to pick us up...don't know if it was his fault or the hotels. The room floor was dirty. Shower had no power. Air conditioning was not working properly in our room...thankfully we visited on a cool January night so we opened our window. The hotel's only soda machine was broken. Our remote control to the tv was not functioning properly..no matter what you pushed (except power) the channel went up. Terrible! Go somewhere else!

The Best Miami Hotel was truly the worst I've ever stayed in. If it wasn't for the fact that I arrived at 11:30PM I would have left immediately upon setting foot in my room. There were no blankets on the beds which consisted of thin mattresses that sagged in the middle. The floor and every surface was visably dirty. The air vent was so dirty you could smell the mold being released when the air conditioner was on. The bathroom ceiling was covered in at least two varieties of mold spores.

no free shuttle before 8am. sat at boat dock from 8am to 1155 am waiting. hotel claimed shuttle could not find us. we saw him drive by on main road but not in the pick up zone. finally ran to road and stopped him. he claimed he did not speak english. but spoke fairly good when back at hotel in front of hotel manager

hotel looked like it was a charge by the hour it smelled like bug spray.Room reeked of urine and mold. Beds were so old they were broken down with springs sticking out. Bed spreads were so old you could see thru them. Staff acted like you were bothering them by just checking in. I could not believe this place I thought I was movie !!!!!

There was only one person working in the entire hotel. The "state of the art" workout facility is three old machines located in the garage. The internet advertising was pretty much false. They were listed as having a restaurant which had clearly closed some time ago. They were also listed as offering "continental breakfast," which literally consisted of a pile of white bread and a toaster. They were doing construction on the room directly above us and the alarm clock was going off in the room next door, but they "couldn't change our room." The room was fairly clean, however, and it was cheap.

when we woke up on 07/07/09 our clothes was full of ants. the hotel tryed to accomedaite my family we checked out a day early they explain thy wouldnt charge for the last day.

We chose this hotel package because of the information informing the guests there were 2 bars and a restaurant. Which there was NONE. We are seniors who saved up for this trip for our ten year wedding anniversary and was on a tight budget. Having the bar and restaurant at the hotel would save us on cost of gas, and meals, when we arrived we were advised those items had not been there in years. We left messages for the manager to contact us regarding this untrue advertising and we were never contacted. This really leaves the validity of Cheap tickets in question.

The room needed serious updating. Staff was lackadaisical. Continental breakfast was a joke, coffee and sliced white bread. Parking costs not noted in reservations.

We walked in and were immediately hit with the smell of mold and mildew. The room was dirty. We immediately said we couldn't stay there but were still charged for one night's stay. I wouldn't let an animal sleep there. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL.
