Ahhhh.... the smell of stale tobacco...
The hotel was suitable for my needs - somewhere to sleep a few hours each night. The room was tagged as non-smoking, but obviously that was not the case for some years in the past, the smell of stale tobacco was strong in the room. Staff was helpful and non-obtrusive. Rooms are accessible via interior hall, a plus in regards to safety.

convenient to airport, nice accomadation
We went to Melbourne/Palm Bay on a house hunting trip. The Suburban Extended Stay was very convenient to all of our destinations, including a very short drive to Historic Downtown Melbourne and causeway to the beach.

Great location for work
I was working this week at one of the technology firms on NASA Blvd, and this location was what I needed. I arrived after midnight and the desk was closed, but upon calling the number posted there, I was given the combination to a lock box with my keys. The place was always quiet and worked well for me. No frills, but no nonsense.

Good, however, you get what you paid for
For the good: The room was clean, the kitchen was adequetly equipt, no bed bugs and no other kritters to mention. The area was very quite and safe and the staff was very friendly. Now for the bad: No breakfast of any kind even offered! only coffee and you better make sure you get there before 10 am or it's gone and they give you a coffee pouch for a $1. The ugly: I've heard of cutting back to make rooms affordable, but when they don't even offer an ice bucket to get ice, only trash can liners......that's just stupid!

If your looking for a good time don't bother visiting Melbourne. Melbourne is were fun goes to die! I've never been to such a boring place in my life! And I have lived in W. Palm beach.

World Traveler
More Than I Need
This hotel had more than I needed, room-wise. The room was spacious and comfortable. It had two beds, a kitchenette, and plenty of room. For the price, it is an incredible bargain.
