Residence Inn by Marriott Melbourne

great place, has everything for an extended stay or 1 night

We had never stayed at a Residence Inn. the room was a mini apartment,tastefully decorated and fully equipt. the hotel had a complete breakfast every morning, witch was good by the way! the staff were very friendly and went out of there way to please us.we had a good stay and will be back next year.The hotel was located less than 5 minutes from the Airport.

Friendly Staff

We choose the Residence Inn in Melbourne, Florida because it was a central location for what we wanted to do with our family. We wanted to check out Daytona Beach which was about an hour and a half away, we checked out Epcot Center In Disney, which was an hour away and we had an awesome time at both.The Inn was only six miles from the beach, which was free to get on,and down the highway from the Residence Inn were other points of interest like the Mario Andretti Trill Park which had 2 go cart tracks, miniature golf, arcade and more. The Residence Inn had a hot breakfast every morning, a social hour with finger foods almost every night, heated pool, internet and more. We were please with the room size with the full kitchen, flat screen tv, the staff was always smiling and friendly and our room was always cleaned every day. The hotel was always clean and you can tell that they cared how it looked, they even used those steam mops, like the one by Shark to cleaned the floors, which impressed me.WE can't say enough about it. We highly recommend it.

From the front desk arrival greeting to the departure...staff was outstanding; room top notch; breakfast bar superb....only problem: It was too cold to swim!

I loved the suite and found it very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fine and the location was a good one in that it was not too far from the airport and had easy access to the other places I needed to go. The staff was friendly and helpful, but their tech support was not able to keep me hooked up to the internet--which was quite frustrating, as I had hoped to be able to do some work. We managed it one afternoon, but during the rest of my six-day stay I was not able to get internet access except through the lobby computer. I am amazed at the relatively low level of expertise demonstrated by the staff in this regard, and am disappointed.

The room was great, to bad the cleaning staff dosen't do their job. The coffe pot still had grounds in it from the prior guests. The bathroom did not look like it had been swept. It was a very nice place they just need to clean up the rooms. Check your room first.

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable.
