We got just what we paid for. It was alittle way to the beach, but we would not have gotten the value we did if we would have stayed beach side. Very pleased with the overall stay.

On Vacation
Our second visit
This was our second visit to the Holiday Inn Express MELBOURNE and we had a great time. We were welcomed by the staff with a free gift of snack foods and bottle water. They helped with directions to area attractions and dinning. Our time in the pool was pleasant, most times a private swim. Although conveniently located right off of Interstate 95 and Rt. 192, it was a quiet, peaceful stay. Easy access to beaches and attractions. We needed to use a computer and were glad the Holiday Inn had a business center with computers and printer. We spent 5 days and were glad for their free full breakfast in the morning. Say Hi to Emmy who works the breakfast buffet making sure every one has enough to eat and drink. We would stay again at the Holiday Inn Express Melbourne, Florida.

Short drive from hotel
Heading East on Rt. 192 turn right on Evans Rd., just before the Melbourne Square Mall, to Duffy's of Melbourne; great food, service, sports and two/fours. For fast food we enjoyed McDonald's on Rt 192 and Campbell Dr. In addition, try late night dinning at Meg O'Malley's Restaurant E New Haven Ave. located in Historic District of Melbourne.

Great Night's Sleep
I stayed as a business traveler and the only complaint I have is the odor of cigarette smoke was very strong in the hallway. The room itself was VERY clean. The staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and there were plenty of other dining options as well as a mall within a few miles of the hotel. There is also a movie theatre near by. I would definitely stay there again.

Great rest after late flight
We were visiting colleges and checked in late. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. We were only there one night, but we wished it had been longer. The breakfast was good, with lots of choices and the fruit was fresh.

Nice hotel
Hotel was nice. We stayed one night while awaiting to embark on our cruise the next day. Hotel was close enough to Port Canaveral to meet our needs and we had no problems with anything. The continental breakfast was more than expected and was pretty good.

Clean & fresh-smelling rooms
This hotel was clean, quiet and the front desk personnel were great. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled great, no stale air or musty smell here. Parking was somewhat limited due to close proximity of neighboring hotel, this was especially bad because of extreme rainy conditions while we were there, overall a great hotel for business or pleasure.
