Hampton Inn Melbourne

I did a huge show across the street and checked in @ 3pm.. The room was nice looking. I went back to working for the night and around 2am returned to the room unable to sleep. The a/c is a lil too noisy for me but still, I couldnt sleep.. But, just when I thought I was able to pass out, lots of constant noise kept coming from the hallway. They need to install door bumpers or at least put the amenities like soda machines and whatnot bottom floor, not next to your room. However, my stay was good, just wish I could have slept that night ..

Located close to interstate, nothing scenic but very convenient to interstate. Room typical of nice Hampton Inn. Clean. Good breakfast with lots of variety.

The thing that stands out most is the staff - friendly and helpful; created a family-like atmosphere that proved more welcoming.

When we arrived, the sheets were not cleaned - blood on pillow case. It was so obvious I don't know how it was missed by house keeping. It was so busy since it was the holiday (July 4th)and the person at the front desk was alone. When I tryed to call the front desk for house keeping I was told they were gone for the night. But the attendent did get me a clean set of sheets so I could change them myself.

Overnight stop on our way south. Motel was recently reconditioned and it was nice in every way. The staff was pleasant and helpful in pointing out places to dine. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was sort of typical but very adequate. We would return again if in the area.
