Great location
We visited Melbourne Beach for my favorite aunt's birthday. We were very pleased with the Doubletree. All the rooms face the ocean and have nice balconies. On the upper floors there is also a nice view out to the inland waterway. The staff was friendly and gave out warm cookies to new arrivals or randomly to people who looked liked they needed them. We didn't go into the pool but it looked nice. Surrounding the pool was a nice area for sitting out and having a nice drink.

Excellent for the most part.
We've stayed at this hotel many times, as our children and grandchildren live in the area. It's right on the ocean and every room overlooks it. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel to others.

The buffet breakfast is terrific. Anything you might want is there including a chief who makes custom omelets. Very enjoyable and worth the cost.

Incredibly nice staff
The hotel is on a nice quiet beach; however, there is a daily rental fee for beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool area is decent for ending the day at the beach. All rooms are suites; a little dated in the furniture department, but technology/amenities include two flat-screen TVs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Had a problem with the AC dying; maintenance was very attentive, but unable to repair and no room available for the night that AC was broken. Dining areas for breakfast and outside pool bar for lunch had decent food.

Island Pasta on the main drag in Melbourne was really a great dining experience: inside or outside dining, eclectic menu that married pasta with island influences: fruit, jerk seasonings, fish, etc. Unbelievalbly attentive service from an outstanding waitress. Another fun/local place is down A1A south of Melbourne Beach - It was called New England Eatery and Pub. Great local flair, good seafood and fun wait staff.

the hotel was good some old pizza and beer left in the stairs from some partyers but it was fun the drinks at the bar were over priced and under poured good place for a family vacation. Would go back if the price was a little lower and we went with more people all in all a fun time room was great view was awsome

We stayed here last year but i can say it has changed drasticlly from then.We had to ask for clean towels everyday, the room went 2 full days without being cleaned, one day we even had to ask for toilet paper. The food in the restaurant did not even come close to last year nor was it as clean as it should be. Overall stay very disappointing They need a complete overhaul before I ever stayed there again.

Doubletree Guest Suites Melbourne Beach
Was the nicest hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at. Room was all you could want. Everyone we had contact with there was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and fresh looking. A very relaxing feeling from everyone and everything. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Right down the road was a wonderful little place that served breakfast and lunch only. Main attraction there is homemade muffins. Meals very tasty and very reasonable in price.

Nice and Clean
The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice, the amienities are nice but avrage, I expected more from a hotel of this size. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Little price for what you get. but you wont be disaponted just not amazed.
