Do not be fooled by the four star rating
This was my ninth visit to the Walt Disney World resort. I decided to stay off Disney property at the Wyndham, after staying at another Wyndham location in Boca Raton, Florida earlier this year. Upon check in the staff at the front desk was not friendly or helpful. They will charge you to park your vehicle and for use of the shuttle that broke down. Also the rooms are small and dumpy. We were put in the side rooms that had outdoor entrances. I would never stay off Disney property again. The Wyndham was a complete and total rip off.

If you are going to visit Disney stay on property. It isn't worth it to stay elsewhere. You will be highly disappointed and ripped off.

Good place for Disney
Normal motel room, safe to put valuables in room was nice. Lake view was really pool view. Pool was nice. Was great for Disney, but maybe for Universal somewhere else would be better.

SUCKER FOR WYNDHAM
WYNDHAM LAKE BUENA VISTA
STAFF IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. AFTER SEEING SOMEONE'S PHOTOS OF THE "DIRTY ROOMS" ONLINE, EXPECTATIONS WERE NOT VERY HIGH. HOWEVER, ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND NEAT. (SMELLED A BIT LIKE BLEACH BUT THAT WEARS OFF WITHIN THE FIRST DAY) MADE GREAT USE OF FREE BUS SERVICE TO THE DIFFERENT DISNEY THEME PARKS. (ESPECIALLY WHEN CONSUMING ALCOHOL AT EPCOT, HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS & ANIMAL KINGDOM ALL DAY) OUTLET STORES, CHEAP EATS, AND A GROCERY STORE NEARBY. DOWNTOWN DISNEY PROVIDES LOTS OF ENTERTAINMENT AND IS ONLY ONE CROSSWALK AWAY. HAPPY TO REVISIT ONE DAY AND RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

DOWNTOWN DISNEY HAS A LOT TO OFFER BUT CAN BECOME EXPENSIVE. ACROSS THE ENTRANCE TO DISNEY WORLD IS A MARKETPLACE WITH SOME STANDARD CHAIN RESTAURANTS AND A GROCERY STORE. BUY WATER AND SNACKS AT THE GROCERY STORE/SUPERMARKET AND CHANGE UP DINING BY VISITING SOME OF THESE LESS EXPENSIVE RESTAURANTS. FLIPPERS PIZZA IS EXCELLENT!

morning coffee
the room service was spot on and our courtyard room let us enjoy our morning coffee outside. The staff were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was great and the transportation to the theme parks was nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will try to come back again next year.

Great weekend getaway
My wifw and I attended the Food and Wine festival at Epcot. This hotel is very convinient and very close by. The accomodations are great, easy parking and walking distance to Down Town Disney. Beautiful pool and services are great.

Down Town Disney is just accros the road a short walking distance and you do not have to worry about finding parking. Also, all Disney parks are just a few minutes away, Great.

Ideal for Downtown Disney
The hotel is a great value for the price! The shuttle's run perfectly on time and you can walk to Downtown Disney. Also the beds are comfortable.

Good Experiences!!
i have been spent a lot of time looking for Hotels in Orlando(close to Disney), finally i found this hotel which has a perfert location, you can just walk for 5 minutes to get to the Disney Downtown, took the shuttle bus only 15 mins to get to any theme park. They still charges $16 a day, which i thought it was fine, over all, this hotel is totally worth it to try.
