The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort is completely operational and open for business.  While renovation projects are occurring, they do not impact the guest experience.  The Oasis Aquatic Pool Playground, Oasis Bar & Grille, Disney Character Breakfast, Lake View Restaurant, and Room Accommodations are all operating with no interruption or inconvenience to you – the guests of the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista.  The Resort will be diligent in our oversight of this process so that we can assure you that work will only be permitted Monday through Friday during normal daylight hours, and no work will be conducted during weekends or holidays.

Clean hotel

The hotel room was clean and spacious. I love the fridge in the room. Parking was easy. Checkin and out was quick and friendly. The bus service to Downtown Disney was poor. We waited and waited and the bus did not come.

Not so good

Hotel was not at all what I expected from Wyndham. Room was on first floor, bottom and lower side of door had small openings, you could see sunlight coming through during the day. Staff did not seem to be Disney friendly. Would not stay at this hotel in the future.

Great Hotel, Great Location

We were at the hotel for 2 days - Christmas Eve and Christmas to go to Disney and Universal. The employees were great. I'd go back for sure.

Fantastic family vacation

This hotel is amazing. It is right next door to Downtown disney, with alot of places to eat and get disney stuff. The disney bus that comes right in front of the hotel takes about 20-35 minutes to get to the parks. The tower rooms are the best, the outdoor ones are not worth it. Also we had a view of the downtown disney lake, and fireworks at epcot. The staff were nice. Definetely a place i would come back to.

Kid friendly hotel close to disney

This hotel is right on plaza blvd and has frequent buses to all Disney parks. The oasis swimming pool was heated and very kid friendly. My kids loved the pool and wanted to get into it every single day. Breakfast with Disney characters was another fun thing that my kids enjoyed. There are numerous restaurants/supermarkets within one mile of the hotel.

Room 8002 next to elevator

Noisy. The deskclerk "upgraded" our room to one next to the Elevator. Room was small with two queen beds. Heard mechanical sounds all night. People talking in the hallways all hours. No chance to really sleep.

comfortable family resort

Room was clean and adequate but no larger or better than the discount Disney hotels. Pool and lobby area was very nice, so was the 24 hour cafe. Transportation to Disney and location next to Downtown Disney was good. By the time we paid for rooms at $55 a night with taxes and resort fee it ended up being $80 a night.

Good room, good service

We just stayed the night at this hotel and didn't really get to use any of its amenities. So our review is limited just to our experience with the room and the hotel staff. The overall upkeep was nice and the staff was very courteous and helpful. We would definitely like to stay here again if we get the chance.

Close to Disney

It was nice being on the ground level and having the door open to the veranda so we didnt feel like we walking down long hallways going in and out. the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Fun time getaway with the grandaughter..

As we were on our way to the resort, my wife was looking at some of the reviews. It was sad to see some of the negitive reviews and to read this made us think we were not going to be happy with our stay. Much to our surprise, EVERYTHING was "GREAT", Every one greeted with a smile and made us feel right at home, or someone special. We looked around and found the same with all the other guest. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels, the beds were great. We will be back.
