Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort

It was horrible when we got there it was trouble with the room,booking it this way probably wasn't a good idea because we did not get what we paid for when we got there. It took 1 hour trying to get it resolved. Resort staff said it was some third party thing and basically ruin the moment it was my son birthday and this is how it started. If I didn't have my confirmation we would have been stuck paying for something we did not want. I didn't care for the Resort at all the pictures are not what it appears to be, and will not never stay their again. The rooms was okay, but heard others complain while in line solving my problem. The only good thing about it is the location. The pool is not what it looks like in the picture at all. Breakfast was ridiculous high $22 for 1 adult/ 1 kid eat free yeah right, because you are paying for it anyway. Their was people from some food take out come around putting take out menus on the door, please be careful they are not associated with the Resort. We had a bad experience trying to save a money by ordering chicken which was a good deal. It was not cooked the chicken was still white with sauce covering it. My family and I investigated 1am in the morning tracked them down and got our money back. I do not recommend this at all, because the part of town they were in was a long way out and in a nasty area. But we had enough and got fed up of how things were going and took a risk, it was not a smart thing to do but we did it. The place they were working out of was nasty I will not lie very nasty. Be Careful when ordering food from people not associated with the Resort. This was the worst mini-vaction ever and I guess you can't win them all. I have never experience this and I do this twice a year for my family and hope I will never go through this again. Note: as I was checking out others that was checking in had the same problem with the rooms... who they book through it beyond me. Have your confirmation papers with you.

No parking spaces, no lights in the parking lot. Front desk clerk upgraded room to a room in the tower but didnt tell me they changed my two double beds to one king bed and i ended up having to share a bed with my mother. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT. Room had frige but no microwave. $15.00/day fee to cover "free" wireless internet, shuttle service to disney. Not free when being charged for it. Could hear the family in the next room as if they were standing in my room.

This was a breautiful resort just a few steps from Downtown Disney. The shuttle service was excellent, buses ran every 1/2 hour. The pool was beautiful. There is an inside play area for kids in the lobby which was great. Two kids eat free per adult but you must get a coupon at the front desk don't expect the restaurant to tell you about it. I would skip their character breakfast and do one at a Disney Resort. Only had Pluto and Goofy and it was very dreary in the restaurant. Not a typical up beat character breakfast.

We thought the hotel was great for the price. The pool was great and very kid friendly. It was spacious enough to not seem over crowded. We loved the walk-in part of the pool for the little ones. The staff was very friendly. The character breakfast was a bit over priced for the event. The characters had less than a second for each child. If you didnt get the perfect snapshot the first time, you were out of luck, they quickly moved on to the next table. They should have called it "character sitings". The location of the hotel was great. It was very close to Disney World, Downtown Disney and there was plenty of places close by for shopping and eating. We would stay again even if we don't go to Disney.

We found out when we checked in about the $15 Resort Fee addition. We explained that we weren't going to be using the Resort ammenities, since we were leaving early in the morning, and got settled in that night. The Employee behind the desk was considerate and kind, and said that the manager could help us. The manager didn't show concern and said that she couldn't help us. We went to park, and couldn't find parking, which was part of the resort fee. We went to tell her that, and then she waived the fee. While we were trying to sleep, noise from the next room was heard. There were dirt stains at the bottom of the bathtub.

Orbitz had a special offer for this hotel when we booked this trip. We booked two rooms on this trip one room for me and my wife and the other for my parents. We took my parents to Disney as our gift for their 50th wedding anniversary. We checked in at 10:00PM and were shocked when we were given 2 courtyard rooms outside the main hotel building facing the parking lot. We had to use a small elevator, off the main lobby, and had to go through service corridors to get to our rooms. The rooms were dirty and the only light source was the lamp on the night stand between the beds. I actually walked into the dresser trying to locate the wall light switch and to my surprise there wasn't one. The rooms were small with a very small dim bathroom. I walked back down to the check-in counter and was told that there would be a 30 dollar per night per room charge to upgrade to a regular room in the main building. This was not mentioned anywhere when we booked the trip on Orbitz. We actually read all details then including the note about the $15 tax/fee charge per room per night but no mention of upgrade charges. If I knew about this charge during the booking time I would have booked another hotel. Additionally, the cleaning crew did not do a good job till they received a very nice tip from my parents. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and would not stay there anymore.

extremely unfriendly staff (everyone acts as if you are bothering them), very outdated and old, parking was a joke (do not leave the hotel, because there will not be a spot when you return), and on top of all of this, they billed my credit card twice which I am still currently trying to resolve. Do yourself a favor, and don't ruin your vacation. Stay somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I really did enjoy the pool area. It was perfect for our two year old son who loved it. Other than that I was less than impressed with this hotel. It is unlikely that I will stay there again. The lady I checked in with was unfriendly. Also the outside was always dirty and there were constantly room service trays outside for entire days. Along with that there was always trash all over. Inside of our room our tub had a big stain in it. Also our sliding door to our bathroom was off of the track and had what looked like mold on it.

I didn't think the hotel was that great. The rooms were not as pictured on the site and the daily charge for services was extra and should be included in the fee when you book. Overall we will not stay at this hotel again. Everything in the little shop was overpriced and there were no vending machines on premises

My fiance and I spent one night at the Regal Sun for our Disney trip. The hotels rooms were some of the nicest I've seen and are beautiful. The location is great as well and the complimentary shuttle service to and back from Disney is the way to do it! However, the price of food was ridiculous and do not get room service unless you are prepared to pay over $50 for very little food. I found out after checking out that the hotel charges an additional $25 to your card, but if you did not use room service or another service they will refund it back to you. This additional charge was not made known to us until I called the hotel and asked specifically why I was charged an additional $25 on top of the $15 resort fee. So you will enjoy the great pools, the beautiful rooms, and the shuttle service to the theme parks, I just recommend you beware of hidden fees and be prepared to spend a lot for food if you eat at this hotel.
