The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort is completely operational and open for business.  While renovation projects are occurring, they do not impact the guest experience.  The Oasis Aquatic Pool Playground, Oasis Bar & Grille, Disney Character Breakfast, Lake View Restaurant, and Room Accommodations are all operating with no interruption or inconvenience to you – the guests of the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista.  The Resort will be diligent in our oversight of this process so that we can assure you that work will only be permitted Monday through Friday during normal daylight hours, and no work will be conducted during weekends or holidays.

Ants

The hotel is in the form of condo instead of the tall building in the picture. There were ants in the room.

dirty noise

avoid at all cost. dirty, loud, doors slam all night long. i am slam closed. usually there are 2 families sharing the room illegally. 8 to 12 people to a room. i had to call security 4 times. security did nothing. nothing. would a frenchman turn in another frenchman. no. absolutely avoid.

free parking for disney is parking lot. the gate is destroyed, never fixed. just pull in. free parking.

great family vacation

The hotel was great, very nice & clean. The pools were was fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We even got a late checkout. Would stay there again.

Overall OK... can be so much bettter

We had a great time at Disney. Bartender in the front lobby was friendly. I seemed like there would be more on the ammenities. Hotel was clean and people were friendly. It was darker than needed to be in at night in the outside hallways. More light needed....the pool was down; which is an attraction for this hotel on Buena Vista for the kids. Goofy showed up for breakfast on Saturday which was cool. Bus Transportation was late; it cost us an extra 2 hours and a missed dinner reservation. I know it's a Disney partner hotel ;-) and not a resort but; that's the reason the hotel needs to step it up.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Think twice about the buses. Cab may be better choice. Latenight(after 11) at Downtown Disney hard to find food these days. Except Planet Hollywood; Must be be economic downturn still bad in Summer 2012...

Happy grandmother

it was okay... will not go back to this Hotel, not enough restaurant and the Sundrie in the lobby for the three days that we were there the soups were old, they were still there at 6pm since 10am beleive me try another Hotel, it looked like a motel and I did call a couple of days before to make sure my room had a microwave and they said yes and we did not have one and the coffee maker did not work, the first night we have to call room service b/c we had problms opening the shower. NOT GOOD at all.

Very Disappointed

This hotel has 2 sections. We were booked in the old section. The room was very small, the vents were not clean, we had a towel that had mucus in it, and the hotel is really old -this is the section that only has 4 floors. However, the lobby was nice, and there is a newer section of the hotel, or at least it looks new, maybe the rooms in the high rise section of the hotel is better. The staff was very pleasant.

Great Experience

Although I only stood one night and didn't get to experience everything this hotel has to offer due to the weather, it was a great experience. My son and I had the best sleep we have had in months. The location is great as we walked to Downtown Disney and back. We have already stated we will be coming back to this hotel.

Fantastic Honeymoon

Had a great stay! The staff was very nice! The pool was great and the rooms were very comfy. Downtown Disney across the street.
