Why so bad?
I had to come down here for a conference. I'm solo, in my twenties and this was perfect. For 80 bucks I feel like I'm living like a king. I think the people complaining brought their families. If your here for reasons other than going to Disney, and your not with a family, this is absolutely the place to go because its cheap and clean.

Close and convenient to everything!
I visited Orlando for the 2012 National Association of Realtors Conference ans was two exits away from the Orange County Convention Center! I took me 15 - 20 minutes to commute but was easy to navigate. The Downtown Disney Marketplace, free of charge was excellent place to have a variety of meals and is next door to the hotel. Service at the hotel was top notch and the discount packages given by the concierge was welcomed.

Short walk from hotel
We all like FREE! Downtown Disney Marketplace was adjacent to the parking lot and was easily accessible by walking. There are restaurants, sweets, shopping, crafts and toy stores to mention a few. while we were there, a street festival was going on with area artist displays. Pretty unique art to see!

Perfect location
I've been to Disney many times. This was the most cost effective trip ever. Hotel is across the street from Downtown Disney. Buses arrived every 30 minutes taking us everywhere. Had a fridge for snacks too.

New Updating
Stayed at the Wyndham this weekend with my wife. It was OK but a little run down and felt like a motor lodge. Location to Downtown Disney was great - only two blocks. Remember to budget for a nightly resort fee and parking fee when booking this hotel

Not real friendly or accomodating
Room was average and when we told them we were checking out early because the A/C had a horrible bang every time it came on (which was often) during the night they said oh, sorry.

our stay
the mattress was so out of shape usually the center is caved in in this case the head of the mattress was lower thna my feet should have requested another room but it was late at night when we discovered the problem

Do not do timeshare presentation unless you are really going to buy
High pressure sales tactics and defiantly not worth it. Hotels okay- a lot of money and hotel is older and not so nice anymore. Took a LONG time to get hot water

OK stay
We expected to be in the 'Hotel' part as seen in the photo. Unfortunately we stayed in the 'motel' part. No closet space. Experience was OK
