Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort

This hotel is right on plaza blvd and has frequent buses to all Disney parks. The oasis swimming pool was heated and very kid friendly. My kids loved the pool and wanted to get into it every single day. Breakfast with Disney characters was another fun thing that my kids enjoyed. There are numerous restaurants/supermarkets within one mile of the hotel.

Noisy. The deskclerk "upgraded" our room to one next to the Elevator. Room was small with two queen beds. Heard mechanical sounds all night. People talking in the hallways all hours. No chance to really sleep.

Room was clean and adequate but no larger or better than the discount Disney hotels. Pool and lobby area was very nice, so was the 24 hour cafe. Transportation to Disney and location next to Downtown Disney was good. By the time we paid for rooms at $55 a night with taxes and resort fee it ended up being $80 a night.

I read many different reviews for this hotel and I am glad I went. It is perfectly located, the staff is amazing, its super clean. Both pools are huge and clean. I don't know how someone could post anything bad about this hotel.

We just stayed the night at this hotel and didn't really get to use any of its amenities. So our review is limited just to our experience with the room and the hotel staff. The overall upkeep was nice and the staff was very courteous and helpful. We would definitely like to stay here again if we get the chance.

It was nice being on the ground level and having the door open to the veranda so we didnt feel like we walking down long hallways going in and out. the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Very clean place to stay, courteous staff, good location to Downtown Disney.

As we were on our way to the resort, my wife was looking at some of the reviews. It was sad to see some of the negitive reviews and to read this made us think we were not going to be happy with our stay. Much to our surprise, EVERYTHING was "GREAT", Every one greeted with a smile and made us feel right at home, or someone special. We looked around and found the same with all the other guest. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels, the beds were great. We will be back.

The hotel has main tower and 2 flanking buildings. We thought we got a cheap price, turns out we got the rooms in the flanking buildings. 1. noisy. Basically you can hear all your neighbors, especially those family with children. 2. bad housekeeping. We tend to get up late. So we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door when the neighbors got up and continue to sleep when the neighbors left. Then when we left around noon we would take off the sign so the housekeeping people can serve the room. It worked for the first two days. Then on the third day, they skipped. I called the front desk, asked for new towels and facial tissue. Then, on the fourth day, the housekeeping people knocked on the door at 8:40AM to wake us up. Hard to believe yet it happened.

Our accomodations were the poorest I have experienced in years. Definitely not a four-star hotel. More like a two-star. I would never stay at this hotel again.
