Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort

It seemed that everything went wrong compared to the multiple times we have stayed there previously. Please see above. I think that we should get some reimbursement for the stay or multiple upgrades or I will not stay there for my upcoming conferences; nor, will I recommend.

The standard rooms are all outside left or right, and in the main building which looks better you can find the superior rooms. This info is not mentionned when you book. The hotel looks like a bad motel. The room are very small and not clean. The carpet is getting black as the hoover is never used. The worst was the bathroom, not clean, and the bath had a yellow mark inside. The water was running all the time as equipment was damaged. We had to change room twice to be able to take a shower!! The safe had no key so unable to use it. The staff at the reception was not helpful, not wearing appropriate clothes(only same tee-shirt) and we had to ask for the manager twice to get something done. The hotel is doing overbooking, and some guests had no rooms when they arrived. Bad value for money, and I will never ever recommend this hotel.

Check-in was way too long I spent more than 1 hr trying to get into my room. It was late already (around 8pm) and the room was not ready. I was not able to enter my room because of the problem with the door. I had to wait for security and enginering to come and fix it while I was supposed to rest. No appologies received from manager, no room replacement. On the day of my check out I was awaken at 830am by houskeeping. Breakfast with Disney's characters was overpriced and not worth it.

They didn't have the double beds I booked. Said they'd give us a sleeper sofa but the room didn't have one. They tried to charge us for a rollaway bed. The coffee machines in the lobby were empty in the morning and the worker stood around doing nothing. The restaurant told my husband he could only get the buffet on one day. He only wanted coffee. The restaurant didn't open until 7:30 a.m. Too many kids were running around. Late at night/early morning people were running down the halls. Check in took forever and there was no organization to checking in.

The experience at the Regal sun resort was by far the most uncomfortable vacationing experience I have ever experienced the controls to the ac/heater was not working for one of the room, the time to return calls from management never happened, the ceiling to my shower was leaking from the vacationers up stairs, the handle to regulate the temperature of the water was so tight my daughter had to ask me to set temperature, my daughter is 16, i lost four valuable hours of my vacationing time arranging to have my family moved to another room which was in very poor conditions as well. I would not reccomend anyone to stay in this resort and if it was the last resort then to ask to view room before making a decision.

I gathered my family for a reunion and we decided to stay at this hotel because of their location. But the hotel was noisy and dirty. And the worse part of our stay were the roaches, the flying roaches!!!

This hotel would have gotten a negative 1 star if given the option. [*] we were charged with an abundance of resort fees. I don't have a problem with paying for resort fees, but I don't think that I stayed at a resort. To my dismay, my receipt said Regal Sun Resort 1 King bedroom. I was expecting a tax form verifying that I spent 1 weeks time in Section 8 Housing.Thanks for nothing, long live Mickey Mouse.[...]
