Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort

My fiance and I went to Orlando on vacation to visit Diney World and relax. While the overall trip was wonderful the hotel was not acceptable. When booking the hotel there was no indecation that we would be staying in an outside hallway room. The rooms are very noisy, you can easily hear people walking by and children running around late at night 3am to be exact. When a neighboring door opens and closes it is very loud and I'm a very heavy sleeper and everytime a door shut it woke me up. In the online photos there was a nice lcd flatscreen tv and the tv in the room was some piece of junk that could barely show the picture. The room was not very clean and had cobbwebs all over the ceiling. The restaurant iside charges $17.95 per person for the breakfast buffet. Now I could understand paying that if the food was good but it was not. The one nice feature of the hotel was its location about 300 yards from downtown Disney. There are other hotels in the area and when I return for another trip I will be staying at one of the other hotels located in the area.

This is an outdoor hotel, nothing resort about that. Nothing is complimentary even though it advertises it, i.e wireless internet, etc., because you pay $16.00 a day in resort fees. The rooms weren't anything I expected, I'm guessing that the resort part of the hotel are the suites and the rooms with the view to disney downtown. If you plan on being gone from you room 80% of the time your there then you won't mind the room. I must say that the shuttle to and from the theme parks was ok but you can catch the shuttle from downtown where there is free parking and not pay for the ride.

extremely unfriendly staff (everyone acts as if you are bothering them), very outdated and old, parking was a joke (do not leave the hotel, because there will not be a spot when you return), and on top of all of this, they billed my credit card twice which I am still currently trying to resolve. Do yourself a favor, and don't ruin your vacation. Stay somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Orbitz had a special offer for this hotel when we booked this trip. We booked two rooms on this trip one room for me and my wife and the other for my parents. We took my parents to Disney as our gift for their 50th wedding anniversary. We checked in at 10:00PM and were shocked when we were given 2 courtyard rooms outside the main hotel building facing the parking lot. We had to use a small elevator, off the main lobby, and had to go through service corridors to get to our rooms. The rooms were dirty and the only light source was the lamp on the night stand between the beds. I actually walked into the dresser trying to locate the wall light switch and to my surprise there wasn't one. The rooms were small with a very small dim bathroom. I walked back down to the check-in counter and was told that there would be a 30 dollar per night per room charge to upgrade to a regular room in the main building. This was not mentioned anywhere when we booked the trip on Orbitz. We actually read all details then including the note about the $15 tax/fee charge per room per night but no mention of upgrade charges. If I knew about this charge during the booking time I would have booked another hotel. Additionally, the cleaning crew did not do a good job till they received a very nice tip from my parents. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and would not stay there anymore.

I won't stay at the Regal Sun Resort ever again. in 1 week our refrigerator, the TV, 2 lamps in our room and 2 light bulbs in the bathroom all went out. The beds were small and uncomfortable and the restaurant was an absolute JOKE! The pictures of the hotel are very misleading. Take my advice spend a few more dollars per night and stay somewhere else. I am warning you!

Is it a joke? The rooms aren't clean. The smell are horrible.

Noisy hotel with people running around and yelling until midnight. Terrible restaurant with a poor menu for a dinner (rip off) and too expensive breakfast with the Mickey Mouse on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays (with no options than pay 22 dollars for adult buffet and 11 dollars for kids). I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. Shower curtain had mold, the bath tub was rusty, sheets had holes in them as well as blankets. The staff was very unpolite and did not answer the phone when called and all they said that I am sorry. I will never again visit this hotel !!

Our first room was located on the floor, facing the parking lot? Our second room did not have a working TV? Vey outdated appearance and not very clean at all!

We only had four days and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel which was part of a package. The pools were great- one with waterfalls and a kids crazy water section and one that is heated and has a volley ball set up. My daughter who is jaded even gave it a thumbs up. The hot tub was great too. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and pillows and the very quiet rooms! The room wasn't as clean as it could be but it was clean enough to not be concerned about germs. The character breakfast was fun but pricey considering that the food wasn't that special. Service was great. The hostess made a special birthday cupcake singing thing with Goofy on practically no notice. Their regular birthday person was on vacation- that was kind of weird and my daughter was a bit upset when she saw the pre-ordered birthday settings in the dining room and she couldn't have that... While the shuttles to Disney were on time, we were frustrated to find that they were shared by several hotels. This made the journey back after a long day very long with at least three other stops before Regal Sun. The location next to Downtown Disney was super however, because we had no car so we could just walk over. Blizzard beach was only about a mile away. The Water park shuttles only run in the morning and night - so you are stuck if you want to go in the middle of the day and have no car. all in all we were very satisfied!

the hotel was very dirty. i would not recomend this hotel to anyone. also the diner is very expensive.
