Freezing rooms
I went to Disney World parks. Didn't make us feel specials. In my last trip, everythong was included, Internet, parking, Office machines. Here you have to pay for everything. The breakfast was bad and too expensive.

Good but not what was expected
Hotel was nice and comfortable the [...]deal of 200 or 300 dollar food credit was certainly to good to be true. It was instead a book of coupons that were basically worthless and really put a damper on the trip, especially because it was the only reason why I chose this hotel.

double bogey
Decent Deal
Smooth efficient check-in, convenient parking($10.00), room was clean, shower was great...plenty of water volume and pressure. Only negative was the a/c unit for the room cycled on and off constantly. Did not use any of the dining services.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
It was wonderful at first I really thought my husband and I got a fantastic deal, but then the hidden charges and fees added up to be over 100 dollars I was not too happy.

Great Location, Great Price!
My husband and I stayed at the Royal Plaza just one night, but we were very pleased with our visit- the hotel is in a great location (we spent the day at Epcot enjoying the Food and Wine festival) and were able to take bus transportation to and from the park so we didn't have to drive :) We had a nice, clean room and very comfortable beds. Since we only stayed one night we didn't experience the pool or room service, but the hotel looked very clean and the staff was very friendly. We loved being so close to the parks without paying the outrageous prices (our room was just $70 on a Saturday night!)The only downside we found was that room service was not available after midnight, which is not unreasonable, we were just very hungry after a day at the parks :) We will definitely stay again!

Not Very Good, But not truly Bad
Well first they tried to give us two twin size beds when we asked for a King. They fixed it when we asked them to. Beware there is additional fees after you check in, parking and "resort fee" which adds up to roughly $20.00 a day. Parts of it were good-Nice Bathrooms! However the TV was possessed and went nuts and would not shut off until we unplugged it. It's okay if you only plan on sleeping an bathing there.

Not what lead to believe!
Very disapointed to find there was at $10 a day parking charge that you did not tell us about. Also the free internet was $9.95 a day. [...]Furniture really could have used an update. Not what we were lead to believe at all. [...]

Great Hotel
A beautiful hotel but I was very upset that they charge a fee to park your car. You already pay a resort fee. There is no reason to charge a fee to park your car also. This may be a deal breaker on future visits which we travel there at least 4 times a year.

Lightning Fan
Lower your expectations
The location was very nice, but there was just really nothing special about this place. The pictures look great and the rooms were quite large. It just wasn't polished. Looks like it was really nice back in, I don't know, 1994. But now it's really showing it's age. There was a good deal (i.e. more than none) of mold in the shower as well. Oh, and don't forget the nonsensical $10 parking fee on top of the $8 "resort fee." Seriously? There's really only one place to eat. It's not bad food but it is rather pricey. Not a place you could stop down for snacks. A decent hotel, sure. Luxurious? Nah.

Not bad at all!
Overall the Royal Plaza didn't let us down. We travel often to Orlando and like to try out new hotels. The Royal Plaza didn't let us down at all, the location was great. Nearby all restaurants and highways, we had a shuttle to and from Disney, at no cost. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wouldn't mind if they upgraded the entire hotel and made it a bit more modern, but other than that, we had a fantastic time. PS: The food in the hotel bar was awesome!
