Excellent option for Disney trip
We had a great trip to Disney thanks in part to this hotel. We stayed in the Pool Annex building - it was quieter and more secluded. Zero noise as well. The hotel amenities are first rate. It's a tremendous value overall.

In the center of it all
Hotel staff was competent, the room quite comfortable and good sized for the resort area. As I stayed for business, I was unable to partake in the amenities on site but it is directly across the street from Downtown Disney.

Wonderful place to stay
This is a large chain hotel but they make you feel like you're at a small boutique hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous! Rooms are kept well and the pool area was clean. Highly recommend!

Met with family at Downtown Disney and spontaneously decided to stay overnight. Searched for a good value nearby and found this hotel. We did little more than crash here, but it was clean and comfortable and quiet. Got a good night's sleep. I was disappointed in the morning to discover that they had a for-pay buffet. I wasn't planning to eat $18 worth of breakfast so moved on without eating. Otherwise it was nice.

Labor Day Visitor
close but
Hotel shuttle to Disney was crowded and ended up standing many times. Drop off points were awkward and not well marked. The in room fridge did not work when I checked in and the toilet later backed up. Maintenace did respond fairly quickly. Its an okay place but keep ypur expectations lower than the 4 star advertised- restaurant menu limited. Location was good to Downtown Disney/

Thanks to Helen, Manny, Drevis, John, Mulela, Imane, Miranda, Paul, and the rest of the hotel staff. The Downtown Disney Hotel Buses provide efficient transportation to all Disney theme Parks and to Downtown Disney. The 'A' bus route services the Hilton, Holiday Inn, Royal Palace, and DoubleTree Hotels. We received a GREAT packaged rate for the hotel and rental car that was $206 less than just the hotel room on the Holiday Inn website. We didn't mind paying $10.00/day for parking, after saving so much on the hotel. The rental car was great for traveling to/from the airport and the Universal theme parks. We would definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista Downtown again. Thanks again to all of the hotel staff.

Plan your Orlando vacation during the first weeks of December. The crowds at the Disney and Universal theme parks are minimal at this time. There was always room on the Downtown Disney Hotel Buses. Most attractions had 5 minute or less wait times. Use the FREE Disney FASTPASS kiosks and the single-rider lines at both Disney and Universal theme parks for the attractions with 20+ minute wait times.

Clean room...Great value
Very clean room and very close to downtown Disney. $10 to park but great vlaue for Disney.
