Doubletree Guest Suites Resort Lake Buena Vista

This hotel is located within 10 minutes walking distance of Downtown Disney, which was great. The warm cookies that you get at check-in were a nice welcome. The hotel room was a little old, but spacious and the bed comfortable. The coffee maker, fridge and microwave enabled us to get an early start on the day. Wireless internet was spotty and went down for a day, which we weren't charged for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that walls were thin and you could hear crying children and amorous noises at night.

The suite setup on the rooms is great with children. The buses now only pick up on one side so there is enough room for everyone to get to and from the parks. The only issue we had was the dinner waiter's attitude and the kitchen was slow getting our food out. The restaurant manager more than made up for it after advising her of the issue. My family (3 generations) who stayed will go back. This was at least our third stay in this hotel.

we will be back again. they we're so nice. my douther liked it so much because she recived a bag with candies and other stuff.

This hotel was a great deal! The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The bed was on the hard side, though.

I found this hotel to very a clean and nice stay. The staff is very professional and caring catering to guests wants and needs. The valet are exceedingly friendly and readily to assist you.

The rooms were not as clean as I would have liked, however, the staff made up for it. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful.

We take numerous trips to Orlando for quick get-aways and have stayed at this hotel before. We have always enjoyed our stays but have never used their restaurant. We decided to have breakfast there after our first night. Prices are high and they expect you to select the buffet even though a menu option is available. When we ordered from the menu it took approx 15 minutes for the waiter to bring us two pieces of cold toast and two english muffins, but no eggs or ham. That came about 10 minutes later. The ham was very thin sliced sandwich meat that I would not serve anyone. Other than that the hotel is great.

Had a couple who had there luggage delivered to our room at 4pm. We clarified this was our room and there luggage was sent to there assigned room. At 2:30 a.m. the female and a female security guard came into our room after we asked them to wait while I got dressed and they proceeded to enter the room anyway. Management was apologetic, but should have never happened. WE went to Epcot, SeaWorld, shops and Downtown Disney. The rooms are large but outdated. The staff was very polite and helpful after the incident.

I purposely chose this hotel, because it was on the Disney property and because it was basically located midway between the homes of some old friends. We walked to Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney. My wife shopped "a little bit". I had a margaretta at the margaretta bar by the water. We ate lunch at Captain Jack's. We did everything that we had planned to do there. We have stayed at other Doubletrees over the years. We have always enjoyed them. This stay was no exception.
