Christmas at Disney!

Good visit to the Coronado Springs. This was our third visit to this hotel. This was also longest walk from the hotel lobby to our room -- took us 20 minutes to walk it --- the hotel is huge and spread out. Also, the buses to and from the parks to this hotel are sporatic.

I would highly recommend dining at Rainforest Cafe while at Disney. We chose the location at the Animal Kingdom. My 2 year old loved it!!

Orlando not for buisness trips!

The hotel staff were great, though check in was slow. Some of that was probably because one of the reservations had been made incorrectly and there was a bunch of members of the group saying "no, I don't want to be near other memebers of the group." There was only one resurant within the hotel when it seemed like they should have two with the convention center. The resurant wasn't that great, the breakfast shop was decent though pricy! I spent most of my time at Disney's Dalfin Hotel, which was a complete disaster!

lovely area

My husband and I never took a honeymoon in May when we got married for various reasons. This was it for us, 6 months later. It was a lovely hotel, very nice landscaping and beautiful surroundings. The rooms were a bit dark for my taste, heavy wood decor, and no chairs to sit in albeit a desk chair. But it was comfortable and a refrigerator was included. The only complaint is that there is no direct access to areas outside Disney. We wanted to get some groceries and had to take a cab. A shuttle would have been appreciated. If you have ever eaten at disney parks/hotels, you know it can be very expensive. we wanted to get some easy snacks and drinks off site but it cost $20 in cab fare. Other than that it was very restful and nice.

Coronado Springs in October

Coronado Springs Hotel was adequate.Way too spread out;it was really a hike from our room to the main building. The cashiers were not friendly; The counter service breakfast was confusing. The slide at the feature pool was closed too early.

Wonderful!

My husband and I went to celebrate our honeymoon. We were extremely pleased with the hotel and the staff. The resort and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! I only wished that a bigger deal had been made about the fact that we were "Honeymooning"...upon check-in we received pins to wear with a picture of Cinderella and Prince Charming that read "Just Married", cute, but we ran into other Newlyweds throughout the parks that had Minnie eared veils and Mickey eared top hats and they said that their hotels had surprised them in their rooms upon arrival. Some even got chocolate covered strawberries and wine, as well!

Motel 6 in Disguise

Needed a hotel room for the Food & Wine Expo at Epcot. Great location since you can take the Disney Bus. However, if you like to spend $$$ for a Motel 6 room, then Coronado Springs is just for you.
