Not conservative friendly.
Great value inside the park. We were able to check in early which was nice because we were only staying for one night. Missed not seeing O'Reilly and Beck as there was no FNC on cable.

Great Location & reasonably priced
This was a beautiful resort & very convenient to the activities in the park. The weather was unusually rainy but overall a pleasant experience. First time on the Disney grounds & highly recommend it. Traveled alone but met daughter's team & other parents. Previously stayed off Disney ground hotels & found the on campus costs were worth the overall convenience & eliminated parking fees & stress of driving & finding car. If you wanted to economize on snacks/adult beverages to store in in-room fridge, recommend inexpensive taxi ride to stores off campus or make friends with someone who had a car on the campus. Worthwhile what I paid but could've reduced room cost by booking earlier. Don't procrastinate, no last minute bargains at Disney even in this economy.

Definitely NOT a Deluxe Resort
This was our 8th trip to Orlando, 6th stay at a Disney Resort. The trip was a last minute idea for Spring Break. You can imagine that not much was left in the way of reservations. The [...] package looked like a great deal and we could not beat the airfare. Previously we had only stayed at Disney Deluxe Resorts, but it's Disney, we thought, how different could Moderate be??? Very different, in fact. I cannot emphasize that enough. Check in time was listed as 3:00pm. We were told that our carpets had to be cleaned and our rooms would be ready at 4:00pm. They texted me at 4:10 that the rooms were ready. Although, we already had the keys, they would not give us the room numbers over the phone so we had to hike back to the Front Desk to get that information and then return back to the rooms. The carpet was not dry, nor did it dry for the entire three nights we were there. The rooms were old and worn. They smelled like mildew..maybe compliments of the carpet cleaning. The bus staff took forever bringing our luggage to our rooms. We enjoyed visiting the parks and lying on the beach near our building, but avoided the room until bed time. The beds were small and lumpy. The bed linens and towels were stained and worn. I don't think I've stayed in a more depressing place since I went on Spring Break in college. If we ever visit WDW again, we will not stay in a Moderate Resort. Maybe that's Disney's way of ensuring that you spend more money on your next trip by upgrading to Deluxe. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort was abominable...and checking out the last day was a joke. They printed one boarding pass for the six of us. Then, they got it up to five, but just couldn't figure out what they were missing. My husband was ready to leap behind the counter to do it for them, when they finally found their mistake. Everything about this particular hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. We would never stay there again.

Disney resorts
Really convenient to get in and out of the Disney parks. The convenience of the transportation system is a real plus. No need to be hunting and paying for parking, or be subject to shuttles or buses with limited schedules from your hotel.

Great Family Vacation
We spent 6 days and every day we did something totally different. My wife and I along with my 2.5 year-old had an incredible time. The staff was great! The only down-side if you call it one is not much variety of food except at Epcot Center - the up-side of that is the food is reliable and there are always chicken nuggets and fries!

Don't forget the pools are heated! There is a game-room at the main center - great for some side entertainment, but focus on the pool, the sand and the hammocks. No-one hardly even used the hammocks!

Affordable Disney Hotel
We took a Disney vacation for the first time without our children since they are now grown. Since we have gone to Disney very often, we decided to do some tours this time. I recommend the Segway tour at Epcot. We still like the convenience of staying on the Disney property. The room was spotless and quiet. The food at the hotel food court was just okay....

Short drive from hotel
If you drive or rent a car, you can drive to the parks and park your car for free if you stay on the Disney property. Saves time waiting for the Disney buses, but you don't get dropped off at the gate..
