Oversized replicas of cowboy boots, guitars and saxophones decorate the music-themed exterior of Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Designed with Disney's signature knack for themed attractions, hotel sections include the Calypso, Jazz Inn, Rock Inn, Country Fair and Broadway Hotel. The All-Star Music Resort, Orlando, opened in 1994 as one of several value-priced resorts, and accommodations range from standard and preferred rooms to ample family suites. True to the music theme, guests can take a dip in guitar-shaped and piano-shaped pools, enjoy water-squirting features, and sing along to songs from Disney classics at poolside movie nights.

Music land resort

What a great time for the kids and adults. Kids games and dancing by the pool in the afternoon and a movie in the evening. Everything you need in one place.

Gator World is a great half to three quarters of a day park. The kids have a blast feeding the birds and other animals along with setting on a aligator.

Family vacation

Disappointed that my reserved room was given out prior to my arrival to another guest with the same last name as mine. I'm not sure if the room issued to them could of been closer walk to main registration / restaurant area. Since we were sent to the last group of buildings past the swimming pools.

All Star Music is Awesome

This hotel is geared towards the kids, which is why most of us go to Disney. It's not the Hilton, so come with the right expectations. If you are like us, you are only in the room to change clothes and to sleep. It was excellent! We were close to the pool, to the resturant and to the bus stop. Everyone was extremly friendly and helpful

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Young kids love the pool almost as much as the theme parks. The hotel pool is open to midnight each night, so after a long day at the parks, our kids hit the pool each night after we returned. It is warm, well cared for, only 5 ft deep and you won't be alone-it was well used in the late evening hours. Also, they show Disney movies by the pool at night where the kids curl up on a chaise or watch from the pool.

Disney's All-Start Music Resort

The good: breakfast. The waffles were the best part by far. The concierge was helpful and the staff was very friendly. All-Star Music Resort was in a great location; right in the Disney park area. Great price for the location. The bad: I was not happy with the hotel in general. I went to Disney with my mother and sister as a little getaway and thought it would be wonderful not having to drive as Disney has buses to and from the airport, hotel and parks. The wait for the buses was unbelievable. It took so much time out of the day and they really load you on to the buses like sardines. The "resort" was more of a motel than anything. We had to walk at least 1/4 of a mile from the lobby to our room. After a full day of walking around Disney, walking 1/4 mile to your room is the last thing you want to do. The hotel was not adult friendly. Great for kids I guess but not for adults. Everything was crowded and loud. The hotel seemed to have been full with all high school kids on school trips. The hotel was also going through some construction so it was very hard to hear the airport check-in staff as there were no sound barriers. For Disney, that was out of the ordinary. If you want a nice relaxing but fun vacation in Disney, I'd highly suggest upgrading to the next level of resorts in Disney. You'll have a much more enjoyable stay. To sum it up, you really do get what you pay for...

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

When staying at a Disney resort, utilize the Extra Magic Hours Disney gives to all Disney guests. Lines are shorter and the park is much less crowded. When the park is open late for Magic Hours, go to the park later in the day and stay later at night for these hours. You'll have less time waiting in lines and much more fun!

Nice vacation at Disney World

We didn't spend too much time at the hotel, only for breakfast and sleeping. There was nothing really to complain about, staff at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Also considering it was one of the less expensive resorts on Disneyland the service provided was excellent.

Overpriced with NO extras

The hotel is far away from most of the park attractions, and is expensive for what you get. The cafeteria is overpriced with terrible food, and the vending machines gouge you (2.75 for a 12 oz dasani). The hotel is very clean and safe, and the staff is friendly. This would be a good option for families with young kids that want to stay on the park to take advantage of the bus service. It is a bad idea for 20-30 year old couples with no kids. Spend the extra $ for a hotel near the boardwalk.
