Overview

The Disney brand is well established, so you know you can expect quality at any of their Orlando-area hotels. Koi ponds, a lagoon, luxurious beaches, village longhouses and flourishing vegetation give the Polynesian Resort a real South Pacific feel, and guests can enjoy toasting marshmallows over roaring camp fires, play volleyball on the sands or simply wile away the day at the Polynesian East swimming pool.

Big breakfasts with Lilo and Stitch are served up in the Ohana Restaurant, while South Seas-inspired dishes like banana-stuffed Tonga Toast, grilled lamb chops and teriyaki steak with fresh pineapple salsa are on the menu at the Kona Cafe. For a real feast book the Polynesian Resort s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.

Great Place but showing age

Would recommend Thu, Dec 24, 2015
Hotel was great. Rooms were clean, close to the monorail, good food at the restaurants. But, typical of any Disney Hotel, this place is really starting to show its age. My family enjoyed our stay, the staff was awesome and the proximity to the park(s) could not be beat. Mahalo Disney's Polynesian Village Resort...You made a once in a lifetime family trip great.

we enjoyed our stay here. The club room was well stocked. Only downside was the monorail wasn't running all the time.

The hotel is in a great location, right off the monorail, but the staff was not as friendly as other Disney hotels.

Awesome pool, but room not worth the money

Would not recommend Tue, Aug 4, 2015
We had another wonderful trip to Disney. However, the Polynesian did not live up to expectations. The pool and new children's area was amazing. The staff at the pool bar was also amazing. The rooms were not. Air-conditioning didn't work well, cleanliness was pitiful in the rooms. Managers were told but nothing happened during our stay. After we returned home, I did contact guest services and did receive a phone call asking for input, which I very much appreciated.

Awesome!

Would recommend Fri, Jul 24, 2015
First time staying at a deluxe property on site. It was awesome and I would recommend it! Check-in with Mollie was easy. She was very helpful and assisted us with setting up our magic bands. Room was great. Lots of room to move around. Loved having the sofa bed for extra room. This hotel is on the monorail and it is so easy and fast to get to Magic Kingdom. Also LOVED the fact that we could get a dole whip at anytime at this hotel! Would also recommend dining at Ohana, which is on site as this fabulous hotel.

Great trip!

Would recommend Sun, Jun 28, 2015
The grounds and room was great, clean and had the Disney feel. The bungolow/sands area was lackluster but the location of the hotel cannot be beat. Aulani is definitely still miles better but the Polynesian is still an above average hotel

Mom and me trip

Would recommend Tue, Jun 9, 2015
This was a trip with my mom. This was her first deluxe Disney stay and I worried if she would like it. She LOVED it!!! It was so easy to go to and from MK on the monorail. The castmember's were so nice and she loved the ambiance of the resort too!

Family Trip

Would recommend Thu, May 28, 2015
The whole family loved the Polynesian. Can't beat a monorail hotel at Disney. We stayed during construction on the East Pool, but had no issues at all with the construction. Our building was Figi and it was well away from noise on the other side of the resort. Would definitely stay here again.
