Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista

the comfort inn was great but housekeeping was laxed on changing the pillow cases in my room they had blood spots on them and when i told the front desk the lady said she would follow up.later i discovered they just turned the pillows over to hide the blood spots .

We were to check in at 3pm, but the room was not ready until 3:30pm. The room was very dirty, the sheets had crumbs in them. The employees were not friendly nor did they aplogize. I would not recommened this hotel to anyone.

Once we got to the counter for check in, lady behind the counter didn't smile at all.. just a harsh hi.. We(me and my wife) felt not welcomed right at..When we got in to the room, we found a bug and found out the flush in toilet wasn't working. We asked for new room. Same lady behind the counter exchanged the room without saying a single sorry. Again I was so surpised that she didn't care at all for comfort of the guest.. and hotel name is Comfort Inn :). So we got different room and we found long hairs lying on the bathtub... So I definitely not going to stay in Comfort inn next time. I would rather pay more and stay in other hotel... The location is super.. close to Disney, Sea world, restaurants, shopping complexes.

Apart from the location, there was nothing that I liked about this hotel. The first impression that I got during check-in was very bad. I Checked-in around after midnight and could not go to bed till 3:00 am. First they gave me a different room, than what was booked, then moved to another room where no appliances were working. The rooms were quite far from each other. After walking long distances with my luggage from one room to another finally got the room but not before the staff gave me wrong keys.

These hotels in Orlando seem to change names a lot.Paid weeks in advance, I had informed late arrival, and ended up even later following delays and missed connections. Mears shuttle was great. Arrived at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista, looks nice and great location 30min walk to Disney Village and why I booked here.At 8pm only to be told no room due to some problems, but they did have room for me at there other location. I was not alone here either, two families with children at the time I was there. The problem with this is that it is 8 miles from current location so having no vehicle and needing to be at the Disney Village 7am every day is not going to work. They feign concern but really from the attitude could not give a hoot but did organise a taxi to the new location. The problem with this is that firstly the taxi did not arrive for 2+ hours and then delivered us to the wrong hotel!! Finally arrived at the other location sometime around 11pm and found that the complimentary dinner offered by clarion was not available.One $30 taxi fare the next day got me to my destination only just as the hotel clocks had not been changed to daylight saving so I almost overslept, the operator call was on time.After speaking of my plight to the duty manager at the Hilton in Disney World they gave me a room for the remainder of my stay.[...]

Very nice facility close to Disney (but we were only staying overnight to catch early flight). Big problem at check in. Room was supposed to be prepaid but they insisted it was only a reservation and charged my c card at check-in. I verified when I got home that c card had been charged what was supposed to be the full cost when I booked, now I have to clear up the inconsistency.

This hotel experience was the worst I've ever had in my life. I usually don't post reviews, but I feel compelled to spread the word of my experience with this hotel. When I arrived to the hotel, the person at the front desk said, "Hello, we're pleased to tell you we've upgraded your room to one of our sister properties." In other words, 'we've given your room to someone else without calling you to let you know, and now we are trying to give you the news while making it sound like we did you a favor." Apparently, they gave my room to someone else and didn't think it necessary to call and let me know. In addition, the hotel in which they gave me a room was at least 15 minutes away! I booked the room over 2 months in advance because my family was staying nearby. So much for being close by. I spoke to the manager however she was condescending and wouldn't offer an explanation. I'll never stay at this brand of hotel again, and I'll continue to try to post reviews because I feel that other people have a right to know what they are getting into.

I arrived around 12-30pm and was told the room wouldn't be ready till 4pm, come on 3ish for sure if it's busy but 4 ! I finally got a room as I told them I had to go I had a 3-30 appointment and wouldn't be back till 11-30pm then like magic a room was suddenly available. Then they told me to talk to the girl at the tourist desk who tried to hard sell me on a timeshare presentation.When I finally made it to the room after the gig and tried to sleep the highway traffic noise was booming, I dozed for about 3 or 4 hours then left at around 6am what a waste of money !

Living here in the city, I was looking forward to a comfortable night to relax & get away. I arrived around 4pm to pick up my key. I then left & returned back to the hotel around 7pm to enjoy a night away from home. What I got instead was a shock. As I walked into the room, it was in total disarray. The chairs were on the bed, mattresses pulled on the floor, drawers on the floor, frig in the middle of the room. It was trashed. It smelled of mildew. I called the Front Desk to speak with the same exact clerk that had checked me in 3 hours earlier. He didn't believe me. I called back. Saying he was on his way....I waited 15 mins. He did not show up. Calling the Front Desk again, I got a female manager. She DID show up to the room. It was later determined that it was a room that was on maintenance and someone neglected to block it on the computer. My problem? Was that no one believed me and that the response time of me standing in the corridor...in the dark... was 20+ minutes. I was offered free buffet dinner and breakfast and was relocated to another room. Nice price...but I won't stay there again.

The bedspread and the carpeting had stains on them. The bathroom floor and the toilet also could have used a good cleaning. I would not stay there again.
