Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista

Hotel's condition was nice; staff needs a bit of training. We checked in at the very nice lobby and proceeded to the room. The room was clean but the TV did not work. Called the front desk who said maintenance would be sent to fix it. We waited about 20 minutes when someone came in the front door. He looked like a maintenance man, but soon began apologizing. He was checking room conditions and he was going to use the phone. He had not realized the room was occupied. We asked him if he was there to fix the TV and he said no, but he would call maintenance and make sure they were on their way. After 45 minutes we left for dinner. About 3 hours later we returned to find the TV still not working. Calling the front desk, they offered to send maintenance again. We asked for and received a new room. The new room was next door and not in bad shape except for the tub which first looked like someone had used it as toilet or to dump their water pipe water in. I had to reach in and open the drain and rinse the black crusty residue down the tub. Due to a mechanical problem with our car, the next morning we ate the breakfast buffet while waiting for our rental car company to pick us up. It was far worse than most of the free buffets you find with the food being either cold or tasteless. A complete waste of $10/person. The beds were good but not great. The TV's were new flat screens which were great when they worked. Rooms had great coffee makers, irons, refrigerators and a microwave. In summary, I would stay there again as the location is great for the outlet malls and Universal, but would never eat there again.

Had a great experience. The hotel is located within minutes from Disney, and they offer complementary shuttle service. Also, the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Overall had a great experience - only 2 minor problems, hair dryer didn't work, and the TV wouldn't change channels - we were only in room minimal time so it wasn't a big issue for us. Hotel room very clean and updated. Great location - 10 min from either Disney parks or 10 min from Universal Studios.

Only problem was front desk in morning didn't notify maintenance of a problem in bathroom. Evening front desk did.

The staff was friendly and encredibly helpfull, close to Disney.

I did some research before we left on vacation and I read the reviews and found it to be super close to Sea World, Disney and TONS of Restaurants. The elevator was broke the whole weekend we were there and you know they put us on the 4th floor next to it. The staff and room was nice BUT skip the buffet it was HORRIBLE....don't waste your money go to one of the restaurants down the road. I would stay there again but I would never pay full price for it.

Great location for access to Disney World and HW 4. Quiet and good room size.

This was the second year in a row I took my daughter to Disney for her birthday, and second time we stayed at this hotel. We were very comfortable, and the location is so convenient from the parks!
